What did you used to do that you don't do anymore?

I used to think my financial future was set. I don't anymore and it suckssss

Me too, I hardly ever posted.

I used to:

sell guns
listen to Metallica regularly
eat hostess cupcakes and drink coke until 2 am and still look slender
play RPGs
be a computer technician
wear a head covering all the time for religious reasons
participate in orgies of 4+ individuals of either gender

Me too.
But it's the Metallica that changed, not us.

I used to worry.

I used to like to paint. But evidently not any more. At least not interior painting. Since I have to paint the exterior trim ths spring, I find out soon enough if it's terminal.

Painted 3/4ths of the house this past summer - with 42 windows 30 of which had 12 panes each. We will never do it again. We have 6 windows to go and one side left. The weather just didn't last long enough or stay dry enough to do it all. It was fun for about 1/2 the time.

I used to agonize over getting stuff I knew I was going to get eventually. Procrastination.

I used to turn off the tv when something was not as interesting as I'd hoped.
And yet, here I sit. Watching Gods of the Arena.
Today I fried my brain.

I used to have a home.
I used to have a life.

...possibly because I can't say "used to" about much of anything else. Oh, well, I'm getting used to it.

I used to tolerate commercials. Now I hit mute everytime the JC Penney screaming commercials come on. They suck!

I sent an email to JCP. A whole series of screaming commercials. Really?

I used to not have TiVO.
Now that problem is taken care of.

I live in the moment, no longer in the past or in the future.

I was going to live in the moment but it passed me by. Maybe next time.

I used to have sex.

I used to work at a thankless job, my soul bleeding away into a grey haze of dust and machine noise.
I used to hate myself.
I used to drive a 1984 Chevy Citation II.
I used to drink on weekends, just to get drunk.
I used to have road rage.

I used to do a lot of the things mentioned by you all, but now I'm just happyto be left alone...fuck answering the phone, fuck doing anything I don't want to do, at my ripe old age, and having been retired for 21 twenty one fucking years...I can do as I fucking well please...
lets see how many fucks was that....
BUT, "she" is still the boss....(kinda) fortunatelyt she doesn't read TFP so I can pretend to be my own man....

I used to run and answer the phone too.
Fuck it.

I used to play with my power tools more. Miss the noise.
