This forum is a place to share and discuss things of an artistic nature with the community. This may include pieces of writing, music, photography, or various other visual media.

These works may come from you or other sources.

It's important to give credit for these works where credit is due, so please attribute them to their creators if possible. This also allows others to have something to go on if they like something and wish to seek out more.

    Enjoy!

  2. Is there any way to separate everything into sub forums again? Makes it a little haphazzard to go through everything in one big mashup

Nice - I was actually wondering yesterday if I should request a "Creative Performance" forum for music, art and photography discussions .

Forums will be subdivided on an as-needed basis. It all depends on the amount of traffic and whether it is warranted.

i started a shameless self-promotion thread earlier where you can post publications, releases, shows, reviews etc.
maybe it'll serve in the interim.

Would this be the appropriate forum for starting a thread regarding tattoos, with the criteria that the tattoo should be a personal piece or one on someone close, credit be given to the tattoo artist, and a story behind the tattoo should be provided when there is a story to be told?

I believe I will now unfurl my creative and curative rolls. I suppose I shall try the Doug/Seinfeld method to this endeavour toward art & awareness.

I so wish I completed that hidden revised calendar project I was working on some years back; could have used those extra three hours/day.

" plagiarism is necessary " Yes more so because after all, has not the verbal wheel been re-invented several times and from soooooooo many different perspectives but as well from the original source, one could say they to were all plagiarized from the "original source" could they not?

He's referring to using another person's words verbatim and trying to pass them off as your own. It has happened.

Trinity, there's a big difference between derivative work and stealing. That's the intent.

I'm surprised I have to clarify that statement, but don't post other people's stuff and claim you made it.
