Great shot of the elusive icicle tree!

 

Thank you. It's one of my favorites.

 

i always meant to take photos of the banyan trees in naples, but never did while i lived there.
i took these when i went back two weekends ago.

 

MM: Did the lighting in the first tree picture come out that way, or was that done in PP?

 

that's just the way it came out.
I am not proficient enough with post-processing to manipulate light in photos in that way.
the most I do is playing around with various filters and things.

 

Looks great! Has a sense of surrealism to it - first thing that came to mind was the Alice in Wonderland movie poster.

 

those streets are a little surreal.

 

It pained me a bit to compress this picture so much in size and dimensions but it still looks decent. This is from Silver Falls Park which is near Silverton, Oregon back in September 2002.
