    Don't be. I think that's how photography should be--all art, really. It should evoke that kind of bodily response. Thanks for sharing.

    Off to check out the new exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery -- American Cool

    They selected photos of 100 people whose signature style and originality have left a lasting impression on American culture - and in the view of the curators, have earned the title "cool".

    Aamong the photographers featured in the show are Diane Arbus, Annie Leibovitz, Robert Mapplethorpe, Edward Steichen and Herman Leonard.

    I found a fascinating photographer named Pelle Cass, who takes numerous pictures of the same locations at different times and basically blends in or removes any elements he wants, creating a unique photo.
