My results aren't surprising in terms of the socialism (moderate) or the tenderness (above average?), but the radicalism? Hm. Is that the right word they're using? I mean, I support the idea of change for the betterment of societies, but I normally associate radicalism with extremism. You know, like Naziism and fascism, etc.

I suppose it's okay to be a radical when you have a certain degree of tenderness. Radical change for the benefit of others. I don't mind being that kind of radical.

Well, it looks like I am, in general, moderate and balanced in my attitudes and a "regular person," whatever that is.
There seems to be a tendency with this test to lump those not at least somewhat to the left of center (people like Craven and me) as "right wing."

I think that I'm mostly pragmatic, and I mostly view both communism and pure capitalism not as immoral things, but as a systems which won't work.

In my view radicalism is something which all to often tends to be prone to throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

And I equally fear those on the both right and the left whose currency is power, not gold.

Look at it this way: If you're left-wing, it doesn't mean you're a communist, or even a socialist. If you're right-wing, it doesn't mean you're a fascist, or even a capitalist.

On the other hand, if you're not a centrist, you're going to have to go out onto one of the wings.

I find it hard to believe one can be a laissez-faire capitalist and not be considered right wing. It's generally important to consider that being right wing doesn't entail being all the things on the right. It can basically mean being in opposition to socialism and social democracy.

The political spectrum isn't a line so much as a chart. For example, libertarians can be either left-wing or right-wing, depending on their views of government, markets, and society.
