This is is a place to post pictures/info/whatever else about your camera gear. It can be something you actively use, retired years ago, or something you just collect like 1940's Russian SLRs or those wooden tripod cameras from the 19th century.
I have a small collection here that cover all three categories, and some of my entries will be "reposts" that have already been in the "latest purchase" thread.

    My two oldest cameras -
Canon Ftb QL with a 100-200mm lens. This camera needs a some minor servicing but will be used once that happens. I also ordered an FD-EF mount adapter so this lens can be used on my T3i.

Roughly the same age, my Oly 35RC Rangefinder that also falls under the "active use" category.

My wife is really the photographer in the family. She has an FTb that was a gift from me replacing another Canon that she had when we got married. In the mid 80s she went Nikon, with a 6006 and later a N90s. With a small fortune already invested in Nikon glass, I went digital with a D200 and Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8G as my every day lens. She owns a D60; but for the most part she shoots film and I shoot digital.

I have a Nikon d50 and 2 cheap ass lenses. I't's never been about the camera for me but the hunt for the photo. To be honest, I still don't really know how my camera works. I' m a total shoot and tweaker. Kind of enjoy that, too, though.

I've got a lot of cameras but my Leica D-Lux 7 gets the most use these days since it's pretty small and capable.

OK, that made me a little excited.

I've been getting more into my camera phone lately because I can carry it around in my pocket. I may need to rethink things.

Yeah, I'm right there with you, my SLR and everything else just became too cumbersome. That Leica is way overpriced but there's plenty of good alternatives in that range.

True that. I usually just whip out my D200 on rare occasion anymore. Although it is a bit of a dinosaur, with the right glass it'll make some sweet photos.

I just bought this Nikon for my walk around in the pants pocket rig. I can see the screen in bright sun and the little fucker even shoots raw!

Oh yeah man! Set the iso to 3200 and the aperture to 1.8 and you can shoot portraits of a coal miner in a blackout.....:D

The new purchase in this picture was the FD-EF adapter that is allowing the T3i to use that FD lens. Played with it a bit tonight but I could quickly tell this lens is meant for bigger spaces than what I have here and needs enough light to work with the F/4 limitation that it has.

Just added a 28-80mm F/2.8-F16 FD lens to the camera bag. Unfortunately I am out of film at the moment (what they sell at Walmart does not count for GOOD film) but the FD-ED adapter will let me use it on the DSLR easily enough. Can't complain when it cost a whopping$5+tax. A 28mm or 35mm prime FD mount is high on my list but that will be an ebay item as this podunk area is failing me in that regard.

Do you have a wish list that you could post? I ask because I sometimes run across cameras (usually bodies with basic lenses) and/or lenses (large lenses are less common) at the thrift & resale stores that I frequent. Sometimes the prices seem very affordable, sometimes they seem too high (given the popularity of dig cams). The thing is I know phuqall about cameras & lenses.

I can work on some type of list. My current "hotlist" is more about decent FD mount lens which are dirt cheap these days and can often be found in solid if not excellent condition.

I walked a whopping 200 feet at most from where I live for these shots an hour ago or so. This is what you can get with a $5 pawnshop lens that is easily 30+ year old lens mounted on a decent digital body. The max aperture of F/2.8 was the main factor that convinced me to buy this beside the dirt cheap cost.

This would be all of my "current gear". My Oly Rangefinder works fine but I had some problems with focus (all operator errors I am sure) last time I ran film through it. I also have a <$10 Minolta from 1987 that arrived non-operational, that will likely stay as a display piece for a good while but did come with a snazzy 45mm lens at least.
I used my iPod for this picture as my cameras were not available. Not surprisingly the point and shoot will be the first to die out of this group and is already working on that. The FTb will outlive the newer plastic cousins easily and be a suitable item for my grandkids to use 40-50 years from now when it is pushing 80+ years.

Canon digital was the starter choice for the quality, future lens collect, more avail used and new. I shoot art style, subject representation, abstract (most concepts as discovery), landscape and landscape panorama. I mostly use the 24-70 or wider angle. I use many lenses and will buy more.
Zeiss 100 f2 Makro, Zeiss 85 Distagon 1.4, Zeiss 35 f2.8 (Qbm), Zeiss 50 1.8 (Qbm), Sonnar 135 f2.8 (c/y). the older 35, 50 zeiss have nice multicoatings the can do something a little odd in special lighting, near same sharpness of modern, but do a good job of sunflare (glow) where the newest lenses do not always make the sun look good. Sonnar to be modified for special effect
    Helios 44 58mm square aperture
    Latest buys were the Sigma 24-35mm f2, canon 100 f2, 24mm tilt/shift v2 I can't pass on a good used price.
I have more and love that I'm capable and not limited while being able to do lots with whatever I have in hand

I sold this guy, and the 45-150mm lens I bought with it, a few months back for extra cash to buy more lenses and other goodies for the Nikon D750 that I actually use. I hadn't touched this one since I bought the Nikon secondhand from a good friend two years ago in February.

This was the first "real" camera I'd ever owned—preceded over a decade earlier by a Fujifilm FinePix S5100 that I parted with a while back—and it served me well. I bought it just in time to take on a trip to the Galapagos, knowing the unforgettable things I'd see there deserved more than an outdated iPhone camera.

    It's in good hands now.
