I have a Springfield XDM in .40 S&W, a Savage Mk II FSS (Bolt action .22LR), a M59/66A1 (Yugo SKS), and (my favorite) an Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine. I plan on selling the SKS when I get back. I want to buy an AR-15 pattern rifle chambered in 6.8mm Remington SPC. Right now I'm looking at a Daniel Defense (they have the 1:11 barrel and SPCII chamber I want), but that could change. I'm going to put a tac-light on the XDM when I get a chance. I have of picture of my XDM, but none of my other gat pieces. I'll be sure to take some when I get back. 2011-10-09_15-43-17_372.jpg

    @KirStang,

You should let me borrow your Colt. Mine is very lonely and would appreciate a friend.

I bought a foldable cheapo plastic table from Costco when it was on sale and just do my maintenance in the garage.

You should leave all the parts in the dark and see which ones fuck and make uberguns.

    ..

You could try cleaning one at a time while you watch some TeeVee series on Netflix.

I would have a pants-shitting heart attack if I came home to that clusterfuck of parts.

Bros. The Hollywood-quiet Suppressor? ITS REAL.

The Dry Osprey was loud, but still hearing safe. The Wet Osprey was basically no louder than a clap. I shit you not. Left a huge mess across my arms and face though, not to mention all the gunk I had to clean out of the USP and suppressor.

Apparently the geniuses around you at the range haven't seen an action movie or played a video game in the last thirty years. "What? It makes it quieter? Whoa."

Also: Mega hotness! Thanks for sharing the vid. You never shared the can purchase story with us. It always seems so damn lengthy and daunting.

I am seriously considering getting a 9mm can (5.56mm would be nice, but only on a SBR or bullpup). Thoughts? Advice? Tips?

That's awesome, man. Definitely works as advertised. A tricked G19 with a high end can = wet dream.

And guess what? I totally made this face when I thought about it:

    LOL you sonuvabitch.

I had a bad day at work. Had some extra scratch, so late one day in December 2012, I stopped by my Class III Dealer and splunked down for a .45 Osprey and a Surefire 7.62 Mini. Cost me a fucking arm and a leg, plus 2x $200 stamps. I put it in a shitty Quicken Trust.

After that, I went to the Army for 6 months and forgot about the suppressors, until sometime in August when I received the call that the suppressor had cleared the ATF. I received two stamps, which strangely reminded me about the Boston Tea Party. The stamps no shit have the serial of your weapon on them, along with a bunch of other Personally Identifiable Information, in case, you know, you decide to become a hitman after you get your suppressors.
    ...........

How's the Kahr's trigger? My PM9 is light as hell on the first round (magazine pressure against the top slide), then gets progressively heavier as the ammunition stack gets used up.

Heh! I'm making that the new "Gear Oh! Face" meme, by the way. Watch for it. On t-shirts, even.

    ...

I haven't noticed that on this one but I also haven't ran a case through it yet and thus I am not confident talking about the experience without sounding like some forum fudd with a three digit round count.

Things I have noticed: Trigger is similar in feel to the H&K LEM DAO. Grip is skinny but pointable. Controls are tight (metal mag button, firm slide release). Magazines kinda suck with their weird top round lift.

My woman likes the ergos and shoots it well (dot torture test). It's a pricey ~16 oz. single stack polymer pistol in 9x19mm +P... an ideal concealed carry piece (on paper; proper testing will confirm). What's not to like?

    I, uh... I really need a gun...

So this is my self defense tool. I practice slicing lemons in the backyard. Right now, this probably wouldn't do much against a gun, or a deer, but I'm training to be able to slice in slow motion. I've seen The Matrix four times, and I'm having lemons thrown at me at higher and higher speeds. Based on my calculations, I should be able to slice through bullets in eighty-six years of training, if guns don't get more powerful in eighty-six years.

I haven't purchased a new gun in over 20 years. I'm going from memory, might not have the models exactly right.

Ruger Security-Six, DA revolver, .357, stainless, 6" barrel, Pachmyr grips.

Taurus M82 (I think), DA revolver, .38, stainless, 2" barrel.

Ruger Mark II Target, semi-auto, .22, part stainless, part black. It's actually a collectors item, only two thousand made with the stainless body and black slide. Similar to the Shooting Team edition (3,000 made), but there are some differences.

Iver Johnson Target Model, nine shot DA revolver, .22. Old gun, very special to me, it belonged to one of my favorite uncles, then my father, now me.

Remington, rifle, semi-auto .30-.06. Inherited from my father. This rifle was one of his very few splurges, we didn't have the $$ for guns.

Remington, rifle, pump action .22. My first gun.

Marlin, rifle, semi-auto, .22. Also inherited from my father.

Glenfield by Marlin, rifle, lever action, .30-.30. My first deer rifle.

Daisy (VL??), rifle, .22. This gun shoots .22 bullets, but instead of a case there is a solid propellent attached to the bullet. I thought that I was buying a future collector's piece, but it's never been more than a curosity piece.

An unknown .22 semi-auto rifle that's no longer safe to shoot.

Man, I totally missed the Tavor post.

Super sweet! You need to get the internal flashlight setup for the front end and an upgraded trigger.

Great patch, BTW. Got it on the jumbo panel on the wall in my living room.

He's not a real bear, man. I saw his picture.

    We're talking legit eat-your-face bears.

    A friggin' Grizzly-Polar-Kodiak.

That only a Tavor can stop.
