    Oh yeah. Go big or go home, @noodle. Sometimes you just have to let that caged animal inside loose!

    I'm not convinced that people on totally healthy diets live longer. I suspect it just seems longer. Life is just too short to pass up an indulgence like that!

    I got so sick from them.
    But it was mostly worth it.
    This town has been hard to be healthy. I just want to go home and cook some soup, lol. This food doesn't make me feel good. Paleo does. :)

    The guy that parked this massive truck in a handicap spot right outside the entrance to Costco seemed far too able-bodied to justify the handicap parking tag he conveniently slipped onto his rearview mirror before exiting the cab and walking inside.

    And I get that some disabilities aren't visually apparent, but really, dude?! Come on.

    I don't know. I mean, my mother looks fine at a glance but she's got some pretty severe back problems that mean she's not really capable of walking huge distances without causing herself some serious pain. Sometimes it's not obvious.

    Douchemobile and physical disability aren't mutually exclusive concepts.

    In other news, I recently decided that it was time to wipe my phone and clear off the ~18 months of cruft. This meant that I had to backup my photos, a process that Google makes handy and automagic and only costs you your soul and your nostril size.

    That's cool and all. For some reason Google decided that some of the shots I've got kicking around from the summer needed to be stitched together into a short film. This might be bending the rules of the thread a bit, but here it is:

    The NSA could take lessons from Google. People squawk when the gubmint invades their privacy, but they'll hand over every bit of PII they've got if you tell them it'll make the cat jpegs load faster.

    And @Martian, I really enjoy the AutoAwesome feature. I was wondering what it was recently, and flipped through the things Google had done for me. Google stitched together a sequence of pictures from celebrating Grandma and Grandpa's anniversary over Labor Day, of them kissing and toasting each other on the last anniversary they would spend together. Suffice it to say, my husband and I had a good cry together after watching it.

    Dogs are very adaptable that way. It may look like he's just lying around, but remember...that's a dog's job.

    For all you know, he's busy putting the finishing touches on his Grand Unified Theory of the universe.
