In the logging industry, which is still huge in Tennessee, hollow logs are nearly worthless; some folks try to sneak hollow logs into a load of solid logs.

Just heard about a musician named Meredith Monk, who is apparently sort of like what would happen if Bjork had a love-child with Albert Hoffman while they were both on peyote or something.

What am I watching here? I mean... It's kind of mesmerizing, but is there really something here? Or am I just experiencing hypnotic audio/visual jibberish?

God humans are so fucking bizarre sometimes. Her short films are sort of like David Lynch's shorts films, bizarre and undecipherable but weirdly attractive.

OMG I've heard that song before! My parents listened to a lot of Oldies. Crazy. The only thing I'd ever heard about Neil Diamond before was in that movie Saving Silverman where Jack Black and Jason Biggs and Steve Zahn had this weird Neil Diamond tribute band, and I was like, who the fuck is Neil Diamond..? Is he like, a Vegas performer..? (I thought this because of the faggy silver shiny suits they wore when they played). Interesting to know he makes good music I guess.
