Lots to look at...42 of them.

Hollywood Reporter slideshow of the new upcoming shows

I'm definitely interested in the 1st - The Flash

Also I want to take a look at these...
The Odd Couple, Scorpion, The Last Man on Earth, Agent Carter, Forever, Constantine, Gotham

    Ones I think will fail...
    iZombie, Galavant...and more.

    What do you think??

It seems we have similar tastes.
"Forever" looks really intriguing. I hope it has a touch of "The Man From Earth" to it.

    Can't wait for The Flash!

I always have enjoyed the film The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price, much better than newer remake I am Legend with Will Smith.

....You didn't expect me to actually comment on a show that hasn't aired yet, did you? The show sounds interesting but it is going to have to hit Netflix after Fox cancels it after less than one season (if it is good, if it is terrible it will be on the air until 2050 at the very least) before I see any of it.

edit: forgot about this one - Gracepoint, based on the U.K.'s Broadchurch - starring David Tennant. Saw the trailer for that online and it is completely wrong to hear him speak with an American accent. I am fine with him using an English rather than native Scottish, but hearing the Northeastern US region would take some getting used to.
Most of what I remember from the wee bit of House I have seen was how strange it was to hear Hugh Laurie use the wrong accent, like someone was dubbing his voice and fouling it up badly.

I'm usually compelled more by who is in a show than what the premise is...as my comments below will illustrate.

I'm interested in Forever, largely because of Ioan Gruffudd. When I went fangirly over the promo, my husband was all, "Who the fuck is that?"
"Horatio Hornblower!" (my favorite role of his)
    "Who?"
    "Um, Mr. Fantastic?"
    "Oh, okay."

Stalker could be good--Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott are certainly appealing.

Madam Secretary could also be good; I really enjoy Tea Leoni, and seeing Tim Daly on television again is definitely something I'm a fan of.

The Odd Couple remake is something I will definitely watch. Matthew Perry can be hilarious, and I think it'll be interesting to see a new interpretation of the classic.

Dean Winters on his own show! With Josh Duhamel! I will probably give Battle Creek a try, though it's likely the kind of show I will be watching on my own unless it's different. My husband does not do police procedurals unless they're a unique take on it.

Obviously, we'll both watch Gracepoint, being huge David Tennant fans.

Backstrom with Rainn Wilson is supposed to be set in Portland, but they're filming in Vancouver, B.C. I'll check it out just for the setting.

I'm sorely tempted by Selfie, as I am in love with John Cho and my husband really likes Karen Gillan. We'll see.

My husband will probably want to watch Galavant, and then will change his mind when he discovers it's a musical.

He will also want to watch Constantine and Gotham.

I'm surprised to see there's enough television I want to watch. What I'm really looking forward to, though, is the return of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I need my Terry Crews and Andy Samberg.

Seeing this schedule and knowing that likely half of these shows will be axed before the end of the first season reminds me why I wait until they hit nextflix. Wasn't always like this. I eagerly watched nearly every episode of TNG* and Quantum Leap when they first aired, and now I work with kids that were in diapers when they aired or not even born.

    * Who just don't appreciate what it meant to wait an entire summer to see if the Borg-ified Picard was going to live or die in part two not airing for a whole three months.

Even my husband can't appreciate that. He keeps stupidly checking Hulu to see if there are new episodes of shows that are on hiatus up. I had to explain how television schedules work.

Netflix & DVRs and such have changed how TV is watched.

Even Wikipedia & the Internet have changed it, so you can get "caught up" or don't have to wait.
Or delve more into it if you want...

Kind of nice not to have to wait for a station to put on a honorary marathon...for you do your own marathon.
Or watch it at your own discretion.

Hell, I've had several years of No Reservations on my DVR, I've been going through bit by bit. ...for months. (sometimes I'm into it, sometimes I'm not)
Or on Netflix, I've gone thru the first 2 seasons of House of Cards & Orange is the New Black (each espisode)
but I got started on Weeds, but it turned kind of random (which it's supposed to be)...so I researched the background on Wiki
and skipped to the series finale...and watched which ones I wanted in whatever order.

Then again, you can do the reverse...you can watch certain episodes over & over again,
Hell, you can even do certain scenes...over & over again... (which I did A LOT on House of Cards since it's so detailed and fast paced...and to "see" the subtleties)
and in slow motion too ...for those action scenes you love ...or see those hotties you want. :D

It's like you're in "God Mode"...

I'm pretty excited about Gotham. DC always does a really good job on their TV shows.

If you haven't done so, be sure to read the Richard Matheson novel(la) I Am Legend.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

I'll need to check the list to see how many of the new shows are on "free" TV.
