    I'm sick of seeing Sophia Vergara in TV commercials. Her exaggerating her accent got old a long time ago. Yes, she is pretty and has voluptuous figure. Yes, I can understand her wanting to rake in the $$ while her 15 minutes lasts. But enough already.

    My go to solution to obnoxious TV commercials, and they are legion, whether by her or someone else, is to not watch TV. I would bet that I don't watch more than a couple of hours a week, excluding sporting events. Seriously. There are so many better things to do.

    My wife is a TV addict. I mentally tune out the TV while I read, but it's impossible to tune out everything. I need to reclaim part of my garage and go back to my old hobby.

    Clothes shopping is much easier now that my ass is smaller. I still don't like shopping, but it's less of an ego-slam when you choose not to buy something because you don't like it, rather than it not fitting.

    Tv has commercials? I must be "missing" those on netflix. I don't mind or ignore the ones on the food network, that is the only channel I watch now on cable tv now.

    I just ordered a pair of over-the-ears headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-M30x, if you're curious). Given the number of applications I'll be using them for, I'm surprised I haven't purchased something similar years ago. (Seriously, what's wrong with me?)

    Up to 800,000 expected....long lines at checkpoints, lots of standing around hours early for a decent view...

    I'm too old for that.
