I am also tired when I finally get home. I do buy some freezer foods, however on the Weekends I try to cook meals and then vac pac the portions, this way I am eating food that is only prepared by me, good for me, and portion controlled.

So true, however, if given that opportunity again, keeping my fingers crossed, I will be a happy man flossing my teeth and humming a tune.

That's what it was: homemade lentil soup I made a month ago and froze in a gallon bag.

Homemade sounds perfect, but you lost me on the lentil part. I have tried them in various dishes out here in the land of the lentil and the main ingredient has failed to impress me in all of them.

It's a crappy day when the bright spot was that the cop who pulled you over didn't give you a ticket.

But I guess on the bright side he didn't write me a ticket.

Heading out this afternoon for what will probably/possibly be my last hunting excursion of the year. I have one in the freezer, and would love to have a second. But this is the last weekend of firearm season here, and once it gets much below freezing I usually pass on bow hunting. Hopefully I come home with something, but it was a decent year by my standards regardless.

Had to google this completely unknown term. Is this definition applicable here? - "when a boyfriend is "talking" to a girl that isn't his girlfriend"

I do believe that I've earned the right to sit in this chair, eat a chocolate chip cookie, and watch some dude-on-dude anime.

Bazinga is his way of announcing that he's joking, usually because it's hard to tell.

Had to google this bazinga term as well, that had even less meaning to me. The name "Sheldon" automatically means Sheldon Leonard (more from his radio work on shows like the Jack Benny Program than his other work) to me not this fictional character that I did at least know was named after him.

Alrighty watched five minutes of a recent Batman film on a basic cable channel. Don't know which one , whatever one had the gent with the good haircut and OSHA approved wanna-be Vader breathing mask. My thoughts on this -
Sirius Black looks good disguised as Commissioner Gordon. No clue what role Morgan Freeman plays, but just having him in the film is a good thing. I am wondering where Micheal Caine is, but he must not be in the scene I watched or been killed off at some point previously. Batman must have been jealous Michael got to use his proper accent instead of an American one and disposed of him.
I am going to assume that was Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman from the brief glimpse I saw when she rescues Morgan Freeman and others from whatever group was holding them at gunpoint. Looked much better than the pictures I have seen of Halle Berry wearing a horrid Catwoman costume. Why would Catwoman help the good guys?
Why is Batman whispering? Why does this suit look so uninspiring and boring? This short clip did not give me any incentive to watch this film or find out who Bane actually is or why his asthma is bad enough to warrant a full time inhaler. I do at least know his name (and nothing else). Didn't Mr Batman have his broken in the Comic Books? That would be excellent for a movie to show.
Anywho, I could probably write a decent review if I actually watched one of these films. Heath Ledger is probably amazing as The Joker. I do so enjoy writing my "dull edge" reviews coated with a generous amount of sarcasm and snarky tones.

The ads for the movie Unbroken are being aired. I absolutely loved Laura Hillenbrand's novel, but I'm not so sure about the movie based on the trailers. The run time is listed at 137 minutes, but I doubt that even that generous time is enough to tell Louis Zamperini's story properly. Given that Unbroken was a MAJOR best-selling novel, I'm not sold on Angelina Jolie as director.

I hope that Unbroken doesn't turn out to be another overdone "Wrapped in the American flag!" war movie.

    Edit--Hillenbrand, not Hillebrand.

Check out her interview about it on The Daily Show. It was really good.

    Hillenbrand, or Jolie?

    I normally avoid celeb interviews.

Edit--Oops, probably not Hillenbrand, at least not in person since she suffers from CFS.
