    Jolie. One of the interesting aspects of the interview is that both Jolie and Jon Stewart are recent first time directors. There is one part where she discusses figuring out how to film a shark attack scene that made me think of teaching; essentially, all these people trust that you know what you're doing, even when you feel that you don't. I enjoy interviews with her not only because she's easy on the eyes, but she's a smart cookie too.

    Jolie might do a good job with Unbroken, or she might not. My thinking is it would be a tough task even for an experienced & proven director, and she's neither. Hopefully the movie does the book justice.

    Thinking about it, there are many parts of the book that are essential to the book, but can be easily condensed (relatively speaking) for the movie.

    I highly recommend the book, but in this case reading it prior to seeing the movie could detract from what might otherwise be a really good movie. The movie might stand on its own merit.

    I found an unused roll of film in a camera at the thrift store. I passed on the camera itself as it was only $.50 and only worth that much in my opinion but I was happy to liberate the film and put it to good use. It was colour film but no complaints for the nothing it cost me.

    Physically, yes.
    Emotionally...relatively...but pressures and anxieties are on me like crazy.

    Trying to make the magic happen. (good magician...hard audience, fickle as fuck)

    And I'm worn down from the BS from the past 2 years...and I just need a break.
    But there is no break in sight.

    However, it could be worse.
    So I'm good.

    Just gotta make it happen.

    But it would be logistically and financially challenging at the moment.
    Perhaps after the holidays.
