I ran out of things to read.

 

That means you are doing it wrong.

 

Let me rephrase that: I am out of things to read that fit in with the current jag I've been on.

And really, it's momentary while I poke around and figure out what to read next.

 

Today is Cynthetiq's birthday.

 

Saw this kid walking with his friends towards the grocery store while I was going to the bottle return. I immediately classed them as greasy otakus in my head. Later, after returning my cans, I went to go into the store to see one of the kids standing by himself outside, and wondered why his friends had left him there. He turned a bit, and the scabbard for his katana came into view.

WTF.

 

As long as it's not concealed, it's cool.

 

I doubt the sight of a teenager with a katana gave people pause here. Our town's a little weird like that. It is a highly educated college town with its fair share of eccentrics.

 

My husband had a red mark on his forehead this morning, and I swept his bangs out of the way to look at it. "Oh, it's just a pimple."

He misheard me, probably deliberately, and responded, "Oh, a pimp hole? I thought you were the one with the pimp hole."

We made some crass jokes about it before he left for work...and then he just messaged me to say, "Hey, I need some cream for my pimp hole."

Dying.

 

I am Iron Man.

 

Nah...just trying some fanboy self-actualization.

...Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.
That kind of thing...
