    Tomorrow the HIGH is -4*.

And today I get to follow the storm across the Midwest. Should be fun times.

A rash in my groin area has resulted in me going commando, at work, for the first time in my adult life. Random boners have never been more dangerous.

Good 80's action film, but it is weak adaptation of a book that has some very deep points and a much more dramatic ending that I would love to see onscreen.

As someone who has been going commando since I was a teenager (except when it gets down below 0) the solution is comfortable pants.

My internet search for info on the movie indicates that King's (Bachman's) novel is worth reading.

What kind of pack are you looking at? I have a Gregory Deva 70 and an Osprey Stratos 40 (which has been discontinued). I love both. Did you get fitted?

I have been trying out this manga reader app, and I'm officially in love. It sends me notifications any time a favorite gets updated. Given how irregularly the titles I like update, this is awesome.

I seriously debated whether or not to go see Unbroken now that the holiday rush is over. After reading a large number of reviews, several things were pretty much as I thought:

Those who read & liked the book found the movie severely lacking.

Those who hadn't read the book were divided over the movie.

The choice of Jolie as director was questioned.

There was no real way for a movie, even a long one, to properly cover all of the book. Jolie concentrated on the "exciting" parts of Zamperini's life, while mostly ignoring his life after WWII. The follow-up on the Japanese war criminals after the war makes for some very interesting reading; the officials in charge of pursuing and prosecuting them didn't do a good job of either.

Oh my GOD. I think I just died. I'm not sure if I'm watching this anime for the fanservice or what.

It's always about the fan service.
Otherwise it's like reading Playboy for the articles.

I'm pretty sure this whole show has just degenerated into fanservice...or at least this episode. My poor heart can only handle so much boys in skintight swimsuits stretching.

And now they're trying on different swimsuits. Definitely all fanservice.

I remember the vampire high school show there was on episode right in the middle of all the death and destruction where they get to a safe apartment.
The whole show was nothing but the characters getting naked and bathing, trying on clothes, and sleeping together.
Then they went back to killing zombies.
Except for occasional crotch shots when the female characters were killing the zombies that was most of it.
Like they decided it had to be in the show but they would just drop it all in one episode.
