Of course it could turn into a battle of good defenses and ineffective offenses. A 13-10 or 17-13 or 20-17 win for either team isn't that farfetched.

And yet, a computer does 50,000 simulations of the game and the Seahawks win 57.5 % of the time - Link

Then again, it picked SF to win over Baltimore with even more percentage...and Baltimore won. - link

    So really, it's anybody's game.
    Make it REALLY interesting.

Fortunately, I made my call before seeing this...so I feel "non-guilty" about my own pick.

**Just to confusing all our experts even more before the big game. :D

Let's not forget that last year the Seahawks held the Broncos high octane offense to eight points. Of course the Pats coaches & players have studied the Hawks inside & out.....they might even have some special footage :p.

I know who I *think* will win. Just not who I am rooting for to win. :D

Now y'all have me rethinking the points total  .

  13. I think you are all guessing low, which is fine, as far as I'm concerned.

    You're at 65, I'm at 61.

I'm going to stick with low 20 range for the Seahwaks, high 30s for the Patriots.

    ---------------------------------------------------

Does any of y'all actually watch the full day coverage?

I turn the channel at 5:00 so that I only have to hear about 30 minute of pregame talk.

  15. After two weeks of talking about everything except the actual game, I'm ready for everybody to just shut up, toss the coin, line up and hit it. I'll be watching with my son at a friend's house, but I don't plan on getting there more than 30 minutes before scheduled kick-off. Too much blah-blah.

    /I'm a terrible NFL consumer:oops:

I usually tune in about an hour before. More for the commercial teasers than anything, though anymore even most of the commercials have been disappointing.

So if my quick reading is accurate, it's Borla.

  18. I wrote myself off when Brady threw the first pick. I still felt the Pats would win, but no way were they going to score enough for me to win.

Congrats, @Borla. And thanks @rogue49, for all the effort you put into our bit of fun.

Ok, for the SuperBowl we have our winner, it's @Borla
    @ChrisNoyb beat out @grumpyolddude for 2nd
The rest of us were gunning for Seattle...and it was close all the way to the end...no typical Superbowl blowout.
@ralphie250 comes in front, followed by @ZombieSquirrel then myself...and @Popeye was gunning for a defensive game.

    Post-season summary coming up soon.

Congrats to all our players...I had fun hosting this season.
It was something nice to look forward to every week. :D

Thanks guys. And thanks @rogue49 for organizing and tracking all this.

Does it now mean that @ZombieSquirrel has to be nice to me?
