Well you know Putin is going to find someone to blame it on.
I just hope it's not the Jews.

I don't feel sorry for Putin & the Oligarchs (great band name)
but I do feel for the people of Russia...

    Scenes from Putin’s Economic Meltdown
Russian shoppers are buying everything they can—before the ruble collapses completely.

However, I don't understand how they can be polling popular for Putin...is this a "skewed" poll by the establishment, which has a much more state controlled media than most post-industrial nations,
or is this more like the "support the Strong leader" mindset you often see in the US. (especially amongst conservative individuals when a conservative is in charge)

Why would you be voting for a guy that put you into a mess??

Then again, I don't understand how you can be pissed at a guy who's presided over a economy save and major growth. (so there's that)

There often seems to be a disconnect between the masses and what actually is going on and the real trends.

Maybe they're just used to it...

BBC News - Nemtsov murder: Russian society polarised as theories abound

Of course Putin and his lackeys are saying "of course it wasn't us, they purposefully martyred him to make us look bad!"

Probably had nothing to do with these deaths either, eh?

April 2003 - Liberal politician Sergey Yushenkov assassinated near his Moscow home
July 2003 - Investigative journalist Yuri Shchekochikhin died after 16-day mysterious illness
July 2004 - Forbes magazine Russian editor Paul Klebnikov shot from moving car on Moscow street, died later in hospital
October 2006 - Investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya shot dead outside her Moscow apartment
November 2006 - Former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko died nearly three weeks after drinking tea laced with polonium in London hotel
March 2013 -Boris Berezovsky, former Kremlin power broker turned Putin critic, found dead in his UK home

It blows my mind how many things that totally appear to be manipulated by him can be dismissed simply by denials of involvement. It is scary to think how far it'll have to go before it stops.

Putin seems determined to start WWIII.

    Putin needs to go.

    By whatever means necessary.

The only reason I would doubt the FSB's involvement is that bullets are a messy way to kill someone. There is too much evidence and it is obvious that it was a targeted hit. I just wouldn't think he would be that sloppy.

But yeah, there have been some bad things happening in Russia under Putin. Hopefully with this new cease fire things will calm down a bit.

It's always possible that Putin pulled a Henry VIII.
