Johnny English has its moments. It helps to be a dedicated Atkinson fan.

The piece where he is chasing the parkour using thief is a classic.

I watched the first season of Z Nation.
There are a couple of weak episodes but I enjoyed the show.
Kind of what you would get if Walking Dead had a sense of humor.

I loved Warren's response to that.
Pretty sure it would have been mine as well.

Kathy Bates and others in Delores Claiboune 1995.....Some of the best writing and acting I have had the pleasure to enjoy. Easily recommended

Johnny English is a good film. Have not seen the sequel but I did enjoy the first one. I say that as a huge Atkinson fan that has had no exposure to Mr. Bean apart from the French Vacation film.

The movie is really good, the book is even better. Same for The Green Mile. Both of which were written by Stephen King. King is an excellent writer who is best known for his horror fiction, which isn't his best writing.

Johnny English reminds me of SNL over the last two decades. A few things are funny, a few things are amusing, with large gaps inbetween. The funny and amusing bits are stretched too far and reused too often.

I just finished binge-watching The 100. I can't believe how much I loved this show.

    I can't wait for Season 3.

I'm so addicted to that show, too.
I'm so upset that I ran out of Bones episodes. :( I'm in the middle of season 2 of The Gilmore Girls.

I recently nabbed Scrubs Season 1 on DVD. I'm a fan (the unlikely bromance between J.D. & Turk is hilarious), but didn't really follow it from the start.

One of my all time favorite shows, though I feel like it lost its way in later seasons. Dr. Cox is the best.

Because I'm not much of a movie person, I never knew until fairly recently that actor John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox) had a fairly large role in Oliver Stone's Platoon. His character, Sgt. O'Neill, is a loudmouth who wussed out in actual battle.

Scrubs, like most TV series, had a drop in quality after the first few seasons. The writers actually did a pretty good job of keeping it interesting & funny for as long as they did. The hospital setting, where just about anything can happen, certainly helped.

John C. McGinley is not only a great actor, but a great advocate for kids with intellectual disabilities. He has a son, Max, who has Downs.

Now that you mention it, I recall seeing him some PSAs and/or fundraising specials.

There was a Scrubs episode where Dr. Cox (McGinley) struggles with how to tell a good friend (played by Michael Boatman) that the friend's son shows signs of being autistic.

I need to check out some movies with Zach Braff.
I'll invite him over to watch them with us.

I don't really care of Zach Braff outside of Scrubs.

I've enjoyed his interviews on TV, but I haven't seen his acting outside of Scrubs other than some promo clips.

Side note--ZB was on one of the late night talk shows along with a guy who stars in some kind of survival program (I don't feel like looking it up). They showed a clip of the survivalist squeezing and drinking fluid straight from fresh elephant dung; ZB turned green and looked as thought he was about to puke.
