That is totally cool! Simple, yet such a strong image.

Sort of related.....I recently bought a book on heraldry, A Compete Guide To Heraldry by A.C. Fox-Davies. It's the history heraldry and includes many cool illustrations and photos.

    Thanks man!
I've been thinking about making a heraldic crest for my family, that book might be very useful!

    Intressanta grejer!
Ta inte detta som agressivt eller otrevligt, men jag startade den här tråden för att lägga upp mina egna grejer.
Starta gärna en egen tråd, så slipper det bli så mycket i den här.

Picked this beauty up from the laser-etcher last week, and it looks awesome!!

I took some scrap wood pieces lying around my soon-to-be-a-garage, nailed together and sanded down a little bit and grinded down the nails sticking through the back side.
I put a coat of oil on it yesterday, and I think it's time to deliver it and hope they like it!

I just hit 100 followers on my public Instagram-account, and felt I had to mark the occation.
It's pretty sloppy, but for a first attempt at a typography piece this size, I'm really happy with it.

  9. Hail Snoogans!

It's great to see your artistic manifestations.
I poke in from time to time to see what you are up to.
It's too bad there are not more of your type around here.

Look what I came across deep in the recesses of my fickr...

I don't remember the reason for drawing this but I suspect you were involved.

    Hail Hamburger!

Thank you for your kind words.

I just found your blog! It pleases my entire consciousness to see your drawings again.
And that bunnymancer is absolutely amazing!

I remember that bear! I have a clone of it safely tucked away on a secret external drive.

    Ink on paper
    Sitri, Prince of Hell.

"This demon is one of the darker spirits among them all and should only be summoned by very highly experienced conjurers.
Sitri has a strong control over relationships, but in a strange way. It is said that he can make both men and women fall in love, but I believe it would be more accurate to say that he can make any man or woman lust after one another. One of his trademark powers is that he can influence people to bare themselves naked and uses this power primarily on women. He can also make people (again, usually women) bare their secrets.
This prince among demons has the form of a man with the head of a leopard and the wings of a griffin, though he will change to human form if the conjurer requests it. It is said that in human form he is quite handsome and dangerously charming."

Digitally shaded and vectored, three color variants.

Maybe thumbnails are preferable, to speed up the loading?

The final piece of my "A Norseman a month 2015"-project.
In January, I decided to draw the same character once a month as a challenge to do something different each time and track my progress over the year.
It's been fun, and I've learned alot. This is the final one:

I'm taking a online Graphic Design-course at shaw academy, and this week we had a typography assignment to make a typographical poster of a quote we like.
    I like Homer Simpson:

I made the text and frame in Illustrator, and the background from scratch in Photoshop.

At the risk of being an ass, I'd recommend doing "Failure" in a different--darker & more eye-catching--color, it's a little weak compared to the rest of the type.

I wholeheartedly accept criticism, I want to get better at this!
Yeah, I know. I was going for having it a tad bit weaker than the rest, so you wouldn't be drawn to see the last word right away, to keep it a bit of a surprise. But it ended up a bit TOO weak, I admit. I think the screen on my laptop has seen it's best days, the colors are WAY off when I look at it on my phone or another computer. But I liked how the background's color got changed, even though it kinda canceled out the "Failure". I thought about gonig back and adjusting it, but... fuck it. I'll just do better next time
