If you are/were a BB fan, you are missing out if you didn't start watching this. :)

Also, you aren't too far behind to catch up, since Season One was only ten episodes.

I'm amazed that, despite his huge success as a writer, Bob Odenkirk really didn't have any huge successes as an actor before BB. He absolutely NAILS it as James McGill/Saul Goodman. :D

Also, if you are a fan, you HAVE to check out these two YouTube videos. From the actor who plays Daniel Warmold (the guy selling drugs to Nacho).

  3. I like Bob Odenkirk and LOVED him in Breaking Bad. Still have to finish season 1 of Better Call Saul. I just hope he doesn't get typecast in this type of role. I think he could pull off a Trump if a movie ever gets made about him. I always got a dirty, blowhard Trump vibe from Saul.

I don't think he'll be typecast. For one thing he has already had a massive and varied career, especially if you look into all the stuff he's helped write and create. He created the "Matt Foley" character on SNL for Chris Foley (among many other notable bits), wrote for the Ben Stiller Show, Larry Sanders Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, Entourage, How I Met Your Mother, etc. He's played parts on SNL, Roseanne, Seinfeld, 3rd Rock, Futurama, Weeds, and a ton more. If anything, I'm surprised he wasn't already a bigger star.

Plus, as you'll see the further you watch, his James McGill character is (so far) WAY different than Saul Goodman. And all the info coming out is that it'll be a long transition, so he should get to show some acting chops.

I don't know if everyone is caught up to this week, so I guess if I post something too revealing within a week or so of the original airing I'll put it in spoilers? Not that there is a huge following here evidently.... :p

    How about Tio showing up?

Also, BCS was officially picked up for a third season already.

I just finished watching season one on Netflix.

I loved Breaking Bad. It's one of my favourite shows. I loved the characters of Saul and Mike, and they really stand on their own in the new series. It doesn't really work to compare the two shows, as they're quite different in pacing/themes/tone, but one thing they have in common besides the setting and characters is that they're both fucking awesome. Great writing, great acting, great cinematography.

Just watch it if you haven't already. (But I'd recommend watching Breaking Bad first.)

Yeah, but you can watch it on Netflix or Amazon. Well worth it. You can get a month free of Netflix, and even if you have to pay the $7-8/month for a couple of months to watch it all I'd do it.

You should be able to go to Netflix.com and get it when you go to sign up. Might need a CC, but you'll only be charged after the first month is up.

I haven't seen the complete Breaking Bad, but did enjoy what I saw, through Season 3 IIRC
    ........bitch :p.

I really like Bryan Cranston's acting, am glad to see him get some decent roles in serious movies.

I'm kind of annoyed that Netflix only has season one of Better Call Saul. I feel like it was just starting to pick up and ten I ran out. Bummer.

Looking forward to S2, when I get it.
