Two of my most fave things to do together. How about you do you ever engage in such behavior? Please feel free to share!
This one of mine is in the sketchbook i have here at my favorite pub today. The sketch is from last year but I'm getting back into it today. *cheers* [IMG]

    @Wildmermaid that is just wonderful.
    My compliments.

And as an ex-artist...I'm picky. :)

BTW...if you want to get rid of your Tapatalk signature, just go into settings and signatures and remove it.

Ex? *gasp* Oh why, oh why, hast thou forsaken thy art!? Or something like that... ;) What arts did you do? (thank you kindly for the compliment as well)

I have to be inspired by a very happy mood (like being in love...or at least lust)
Takes a lot to get me going art-wise.

Fortunately, a very cute dentist clerk got me energized again...so I bought materials at Michael's
But reality hit me again...stress stalled me. But she flirt-texted me again...so maybe this weekend...I don't know, I'm a flake.

I'm a flake too so we're in good company. ;) Did you flirt-text her back? Feel free to tell me to mind my own beeswax. :3 Do you do portraits, nudes, kittens, inquiring minds and all that?! Which materials did you buy? *art lust* New art supplies are dreamy...

Williamsburg oils are my decadent pride and joy but honestly i even draw with Crayola crayons.

So, dumb question =/ if I wanted to post old NSFW paintings & such do I do that in this thread or make a new one and title it appropriately?

Please initiate a thread w the premise you would be sharing finished pieces from days of yore (NSFW is not a concern, but if you tuck that in the title I betcha you get traffic ) Call it @Wildmermaid 's NSFW Gallery. Put what you like in it. Make it so.

Photobucket - Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing.
If you haven't done it yet, open an account, make a folder labelled "Share These" or something equally brilliant, stuff it full of assorted work, then add them to a TFP thread over a period of time. Days or weeks. Or longer.
Easy to share from Photobucket, and if you hit a glitch, look on the TFP homepage for a mod on duty to message (or share a conversation or whatever this site calls it). If a mod isn't currently active message them anyway. Help is on its way.

    Beautiful work.
I don't draw, never had the skill and my hands are shot now.
I tend to stick to the written word and have been known to drink while writing.

So pray tell what is the libation?

Very kind words, thank you for them! May I ask why your hands are shot? Do you prefer writing longhand or typing? :)

Tonight the libation is scotch on the rocks, i partially dislocated right damn collarbone tonight so scotch at least makes it mentally less hurty. ;) This afternoon at pub it was a really fresh and nice margarita with salted rim.

I used to write long hand then type it up but can't do that anymore.
I was a chef for twenty years until carpel tunnel and trigger finger set in.
The surgeries have helped a lot but I can't type fast and being a chef is out.
Lucky for me DVR retrained me to work in their field so I can help people with disabilities get back to work (so it kind of comes full circle).

    Nice, @Wildmermaid !

I love Waterhouse's Lady of Shalott. I've had a framed print of it for years.

And, of course, there is also my love of poetry:

And by the moon the reaper weary,
    Piling sheaves in uplands airy,
    Listening, whispers, "'Tis the fairy
    Lady of Shalott."

—from "The Lady of Shalott," Lord Tennyson

This is really nice sketch. I've always wanted to develop my skill in drawing, but I never know where to start. So basically I just admire and envy the work of @kramus instead.

Now I guess I'll start admiring and envying your work too. :D

Acrylic on canvas panel. Also older but it is what it is. There are many things I would go back and change, but at this moment what i most want is to push myself forward. Bye for now. *hugs*

I love that you said, "That is a Belle not to be fucked with." That phrase just gave me the evilest smirk and happy smile! <3

I work for ADOL (Alaska Department of Labor) DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation).
Every state has one though they might call it something different and sometimes it is through the education department.
Voc Rehab is federally mandated but some states only kick in enough money to provide the absolute meanest of services.
Alaska at least for right now is at full participation.
We try to help everyone we can.

As to cooking I worked my way up the line from dishwasher, to pantry, to line chef, to running a brigade, to managing small restaurants.
I also worked as a butcher and cut specialty meats.
The thing about living in a state where the economy is like a roller-coaster, you can get a lot of experience in different restaurants as they go boom and bust.

Thank you for educating me on that! :) I've never been part of that system as started having surgery on legs when 8, then could walk for a handful of years, now just work freelance.

My cousin was just up in Alaska working for a month, and loved it very much! I half expect him to move there if an opportunity arises. Sorry for even worse typing, damn shoulder dislocated- well just partially this time, and brain is foggy now.

I hope Alaska gets to retain full voc. rehab. when the dust settles!

I do paints and pencils, sometimes chalks and 3D art.
In, paints tend to use acrylic.
Often I take pics of people and scenes and translate them into realistic pieces
If I do something from my head...they tend to be symbolic or abstract. (or epic fantasy)
    I've done animals, no nudes.
In 3D, I've done all types of topics and styles...there is no pattern.

With the pretty young thing, yeah I flirt texted her back...maybe we'll do something sometime. I've been in a mood lately, family obligations. Don't want to be in a repressive state when I do finally go out.
But she asked for something with bright colors...she likes yellow.
So I saw a great pic to translate in paint...blue washed sky, yellow fields of flowers in the foreground, silhouetted dark tree in contrast in the center, with a dark path from the bottom up through the field to it.

Last one I did, was for my ex live in gf, last summer, purple lady slipper flowers against green leaves highlighted with yellow. (colored pencils) --- not as good as I liked...the pencils were too firm. Needed to be softer to blend.

    We'll see...
