    I guess this isn't really pointless, but there was a huge house explosion in Lincoln a few days ago, apparently the result of a natural gas leak which filled the whole house before something touched it off. It knocked several other homes off their foundations, tore roofs off, and these are large suburban lots, not closely packed homes. Some debris found as much as six blocks away and smoke visible from downtown, over five miles away.

    Fire marshal is now treating it as a crime scene. Amazing destruction.

    And I thought the concert experience was draining. Moved the daughter to a new place on Saturday. About 3/4 of the way through, my knees kindly told me f**k off. Luckily, we had enough help to get her moved. I am now OFFICIALLY retired from the moving game. Next move better be to a first floor apartment, or a building with an elevator.

    agree with this.my cousin lives in Houston and I talked with her yesterday morning (we talk atleaset 3 times a week) and she said that they are expecting major flooding in the Houston area

    A double suicide via exploding house in Mississauga, Ontario in June 2016 had 33 adjacent homes destroyed and or sealed off due to unsafe condition 7 months later. I don't know how many still may be closed rt now. That was a dangerous and incredibly selfish act. Totally pisses me off, this suicide-by-asshole stuff.

    I got three more hours work done on my sleeve last night. I had to tap out at that point. Out of all the sessions last night was the most painful and I just couldn't take anymore. The crease and inner part of the arm is ridiculous.

    I have the exact same thing as @ralphie250.

    Could sleep through bombs going off - and during my time in Afghanistan, I have. Only realized something was off when I was drowsily sitting on the toilet and finally noticed the nearby gunfire going on.

    One time I slept through an earthquale while everyone was panicking.

    I'm fucked in the event of a sudden zombie apocalypse. :p
