    So it was finally my turn to get my fb account compromised and have some generic rayban spam posted. Took me all of a few minutes to terminate the hostile login session, change my password, and enable 2 factor authentication. Between that night and this morning I deleted all of the image spam. 24 hours later Facebook caught up with all of this and has spent the whole day making me constantly prove my identity and change my password, sometimes as often as 5 times in an hour. Brilliant work there guys.

    In other unrelated drama I walked face-first into the middle of an out and out lynch mob that was forming on facebook, complete with people demanding the accused rapist's identity so they could hunt him down with weapons and beat him to death in the street. All I did was put their own names in their own posts and explain that's why we don't murder people over proofless social media posts.

    Go figure the alt-left admin of the group decided I was the one that needed to be banned and not the people literally calling for someone to be murdered.

    MIL got me the gift card to Sephora I asked for... But it turns out it is for Sephora in JCPenney, which doesn't carry any of the items I was going to order.

    I'm not mad at my MIL. It just feels really deceptive because it's on the small print on the back of the card, and I'm sure no one told her when she bought it.

    I'm 44. I take care of myself. I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. I don't eat well, but that's about it. I bench 335, squat 405. I work out 5 days a week. People think I'm in my 30's. But my body is still betraying me. My eyes have high internal pressure ,which is a strong potential for glaucoma. So I am going to have to start eye drops to protect me now. What the fuck.

    My well maintained 2006 Accord is dead this morning.:( Was fine at 10:00 last night. Nothing. Not even a clickety-click from the starter. Lights, sound, etc. all work. My voltmeter shows battery at 12.6 volts, which is plenty good. Cleaned the cable ends -- still nothing. Called AAA (that's what I pay them for) the tech rechecks everything that I did, plus checked fuses and clutch safety switch. Everything OK. The mechanic I usually use is closed until Thursday.:mad:
    So, I have AAA tow it to Honda dealer. Their service dept closes at noon on Saturday, and they're booked solid for Tuesday. Arrgh!! They will look at it as soon as they can.

    My old 2002 SAAB sitting in the back yard shed groaned and complained, but after an hour on the battery charger started right up. Over 250k miles on it. (Honda has 97,xxx) Unfortunately, tags expired and no insurance. Insurance office closed until Tuesday. And cops tend to be unusually vigilant looking for an excuse to stop suspected drunks this time of year. I'll drive it, but stay off the road on New Year's Eve.
