I was out of coffee this morning. It was terrible! Luckily, there's a drive thru coffee shop nearby that sells their whole bean coffee. Still in my pajamas and I have coffee.

    Life is good

I was a huge fan of anarchy when I was a teenager.
    I also liked libertarianism.
    Then I grew up.

Convenient perhaps? Let's hope I'll never grow up.

It's useful when you have children and have to pay bills, buy a home and be part of society.
I'm not always a fan of adulting, it isn't easy and people seem to think it has to be boring or that you have to lose your personality and creativity to do it.
That is only true if you are a drone, the rest of us are just fine.

If you think that I don't understand the principles of anarchy you'd be wrong.
I've studied everybody from Pierre-Joseph Proudhon and mutualism, (fuck him for his antisemitism by the way), through the Diggers (hippies of 1649), the Paris Commune and the International Workingman's Association.
I was a huge fan of the bombers like Most who wanted to take down society and make a place where everyone got a place instead of just the oligarchs. It was all about the doing the deed. Talk all you want but blowing shit up was the true propaganda.
Goes to show you what's important to a 15 year old.
I was raised by radicals, communists and socialists, and Spain was where they split off from Russia because of the betrayal of the Spanish anarchists and other groups by the Russian backed communists. They felt that flew in the face of everything the party stood.
My grandfather was in the IWW, the Wobblies, you know "Workers of the world unite, you have nothing to loose but your chains." I knew first hand what the worker revolution should look like.
Right now I'd settle for having this country get back to the level of union that it had in the 1950's when it had a decent economy.
I have friends who grew up on communes in the backwoods of Alaska, off the grid.
Their parents didn't believe in the system and did their best to live simply with only the barest of contact with system.

I like the ideals of anarchism, don't get me wrong.
I just understand that living with people involves compromise.
Some people can't handle the responsibility baked into that kind of system, like children and people with disabilities.
We need to have systems in place to look after them.
We need support systems for people that don't rely on the 'kindness' of people because all too often when the shit hits the fan, people aren't kind.

The super blue blood moon here was a bit disappointing. The partial eclipse, around 2/3, was clear to the naked eye and really clear with binocs. It wasn't very orange though; that could be because of the city lights.

Can we settle on the 1970s when public employees were finally allowed to have unions?

Unions are amazing. Mine protects me and gives me professional development!

You read the most random shit in YouTube comments...

Somehow, the comments on a guy's performance in an FPS game degenerated into what a graphic designer should/shouldn't have to put up with from a client.
Then we get a guy claiming to be a university professor of Italian language and literature, who says since he worked as a graphic designer for 10 years before he became a professor, he knows more than the actual graphic designer.
Then we get a troll chiming in to say that Comic Sans is the graphic designer's go-to font.

    This shit is becoming epic.

Roller coaster temperatures will not allow my sinuses to adjust. I had a bacterial infection in my head. Meds last week now its gone. But the coughing from the drip has been violent and painful.

Let's face it; figure skating is pretty fucking boring. There is no innovation. But I have an idea to make it more interesting. Everyone performs at once. One 4 minute spectacle. Throw down or go home.
