That I can't even keep up
Here's just a list of words that each has a bad saga going on with them...:eek::mad::confused:

Hicks, Pruitt, Manafort, Melania, McMasters, Ivanka, NRA, Tariffs, Russia, Nukes, Jared, Nunes, Mexico, Death Penalty, Teachers, Vets, etc and so on...
And that's just this week and current...

Sounds like a diversionary tactic, pile on "little things" to divert attention from "the big issues."

Nope, not at all...he wishes...it's just a variety of things on top of the big things.
You'd think he'd be punch drunk by now.
But personally, I think he's just pissed that he's "insulted" by it. (How dare you think ANYTHING is wrong...)
If it's positive, he did it, of course, it's the best.
If it's negative, it's not him, but it's a personal affront.

    But, of course...
Trump picks Dow Chemical lawyer for key role at EPA

Nope, not cleaning up the swamp...just putting chemicals into it.

    And I'm not a tree-hugger either...but this is ridiculous.
I have been directly impacted by one of the nation's Superfund sites...so I know the hazards of chemical waste sites.

This is Trump's MO, put the people who oppose certain government entities in charge of them.
(not just oppose...but even represent those they are trying to check)
    EPA, FCC, FDA, HHS, etc...

Ok, this was basically the byline for most of the media out there...
‘Pure madness’: Dark days inside the White House as Trump shocks and rages

Not a good trend to be said about you.
AND his best friends and acquaintances are saying he's breaking and lashing out.
'This is not going to end well': Trump's friends and allies are worried he's spiraling out of control — and they say this time is different

Just don't fuckin' get us nuked or nuke anything.
Everything else is negotiable and recoverable.

That ^ is becoming one of my big concerns. When (If?) Trump gets backed into a corner and knows his time as POTUS is over, what will he do? Something vindictive and really stupid, say nuking North Korea, or even Russia? I hope that there are safeguards in place to prevent him from starting WWIII.

You know what you get for loyalty to Trump?? Nothing.
Trump fires Tillerson at State, replacing with CIA's Pompeo

Meanwhile, the CIA director replacement is a long-time CIA pro...but one that has a some serious ethical charges against her...and some nations have done even criminal charges.
Yes, she'll be the first woman... Sure, depends on what you think about the use of "enhanced interrogation techniques" aka torture. (I go back and forth, myself)
BUT...putting such a controversial leader in charge will not give the US a better rep.

However, this administration as usual, could give a flying shit about anyone else opinion...including our face internationally.
I guess...as long as we don't get into nukes or the like...everything else is negotiable.
    Or is it???

Well, it might be good to put a medical doctor (and military man) in charge at the VA. Shulkin was doomed as soon as it became public knowledge that he was a petty thief.

I listened to Shulkin's interview on NPR yesterday morning. He claimed that the head of the VA has attended this conference with allies for the past 43 years. It's a chance to meet with his peers from other allied countries. He also stated that he worked for over 40 hours during that time and gave 3 speeches. He received approval prior to his wife getting a coach class ticket to attend with him. When people started complaining he wrote a check to cover her ticket. I don't know if he was any good at his position, but that is what he offered in response to the ethics charges.
As far as the new potential head, I worry about someone who has no administrative experience taking over a 200 billion dollar organization with 377,000 employees. To me, that doesn't require a dr. It requires someone with a completely different skillset. Plus we know that Trump's personal physician has compromised integrity. He has already stated that Trump is in perfect health and weighs 239 lbs. So we know he is a liar. When he starts privatizing VA healthcare and starts spinning off services to Trump donors for profiteering, I think services are going to get worse. Then those private corporations are going to need more patients, which means more wars. Kind of like how for profit prisons need more prisoners.

elections arent won or lost by the people who are passionate about politics - they already know how they are going to vote and they vote every time. Elections are won by reaching to the middle or the people who dont usually vote. And as much as the left are becoming more and more wound up by their Russian conspiracies - Trump is reaching out to the middle. The fact he may or may not have screwed a pornstar somewhere in the past doesnt make much difference - its already priced into his whole persona. If the Dems had run Bernie (or Biden) they would have won, but now they are stuck.
