So HAPPY Roseanne Barr is now Barred from tv! Never liked her brand and quit watching shortly after her first disgusting run. I hope Mr. Trump is paying attention. There is no room for bias, prejudice, and hate in the hearts of the American public.

Roseanne, once again an avatar for white trash America. Really shows the cultural shift.

What is up with comics these days? Between Michelle Wolf & Roseanne Barr you'd think we lived in a fucking war zone. They're not funny. They're just insulting and stupid.

    Personally I like Michelle Wolf.
Her delivery can be off-putting but her work is sharp as hell.
Rosanne was funny back in the day.
She has admitted to having pretty severe mental issues and even that she doesn't always do a great job of treating them.
I suspect this latest behavior stems from that.

I work at a bank. I am usually one of the people closing. Those doors get locked promptly at 1700 and no one gets in. I also dont stand by the door and let people argue with me. If we have a customer in the branch they will get taken care of. But no one gets in.

It's seems that the freedom to choose whom you wish to do commerce with only works for some people. Oh wait.. That's not necessarily freedom is it? What ever happened to tort reform? If I sense that a person doesn't want to do business with me, I move on. In fact, I'd rather know that up front than subject myself to a moment of frustration. I guess that's a result of my parents raising a young adult, rather than the adult children that result from today's parenting model. No trophy? SUE! Hurt feels? SUE! Not receiving the respect you feel you should be? SUE!!

Grow the fuck up, America. And get a fucking skin while you're at it. It's not the rest of the world's responsibility to shelter you from victimhood. And stop confusing courtesy with respect; you're entitled to a certain amount of the former; you have to earn the latter.

The bakery was dealing with a "professional equity activist" who was apparently looking to take offense and have a confrontation. I wonder if she keeps a lawyer on retainer.

You remember when, must be 20 years ago, some lawyer was going around with a person in a wheel chair and blackmailing shops that were not "handicap accessible." (********** DISCLAIMER********Not that there is anything wrong with that)

I remember writing a background policy paper and conducted a briefing for members after GHW Bush signed the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) in the summer of 1990.

Actually there are a number of activists all over the country who do this and they don't consider it to be blackmail.
I'm sure the shops do but it's all a matter of which side of the wheelchair you are sitting in.

There is a Jew in New York who is missing his legs who has filed hundreds of cases, a doctor in the midwest with MS who has done even more and an old lady who had polio when she was a kid (fuck the anti-vaxxers very much) who makes it her purpose in in life.
I'm sure to anyone who isn't disabled that all sounds pretty shady they say it is a battle to get shops and stores to make universal design standard.
I find myself often wondering how the hell some businesses got away with the layout they have when it is obvious that there is no way someone in a wheelchair could manage it.
