How do you "read"

DAKA DOING VERY NICELY, THANK YOU

What I mean is do you buy, borrow from a library or use a "reader" (kindle or another download device)?

I always buy from a bookstore

Never been one for online or ereaders or books on tape

Used to do the library when I was a kid
But don’t go often now (although I have a card)

I should get into online purchases
But it doesn’t click with me for some reason

(And I’m a tech...so not afraid of online)
I do get my tech online...but I get this as needed on support sites and other refs.

I buy real books, mostly from thrift stores. It would behoove me to find my outdated library card, get an updated one, and get my books that way. But I have a habit of setting aside books I find boring after starting them, or never starting them, choosing another book.

I haven't bought a printed book in years. I get them given to me or find them in the common space of the apartments.

But usually, I get ebooks and read them on my Kindle, iPhone or iPad.

I don't want more stuff in my house so I have a very, very, very, large ebook library.

I buy a lot of graphic novels at the used book store because I don't find the computer a great way to read comics.
It is fine for reading print but for art I don't enjoy it as much, so most of my print books are digital and I have shelves full of comics which I'm sure would give an odd perspective to someone just coming into the house.

Many ways, I buy real books at a real bookstore, I get kindle unlimited and I subscribe to the economist, which comes with a digital version containing audio tracks of brits reading the articles, and I listen to that in the car.
