DAKA DOING VERY NICELY, THANK YOU

I am getting "sick and tired" (yeah I know), of these damn things getting screwed up ..
This is the 3rd one that has somehow become unusable....the clear part of the mechanism is not coming out...
anyone taken one of these apart and been able to it working?

I hate those effing things. Seriously, I've never had one work all the way to the end of its supply. Never been able to fix one either.

I graduated from 27th grade with two masters degrees and a PhD and that stuff is still the bane of my existence. It's stupid.

I almost never use a pen anymore. My "whiteout" is a backspace on my device.

Technically, Wite-Out and the like are illegal in my field. But, my home address is on my professional license...

My wife still uses correction fluid & tape at the school where she teaches. I buy her the generic stuff from one of the $1.25 stores.

I was so pissed at having a second one go bad that I sent the part to BIC, cost me $3 postage, but, did they send me 2 replacement ones and $4 coupons....
    So, hopefully these are better.....

    They never work.
But you know what? Those white out pens were pretty nice. Oh, they still exist. They're called shake and squeeze.
My perfectionist 5 year old tried to convince me to buy white out and I always say no. I'd rather see her mistakes (and not just the fact that she made one and covered it) so I know what she needs help with.

Aw....sure they do...for about 3 or 4 corrections..... I am going to be VERY careful with these and see if I can get at least half of it to work....

Perhaps it comes down to how often you're using it. Are you letting it sit in a drawer for months between uses, or do you use it all the time?

I agree with this 100%. I prefer to see the mistakes my daughter makes so I can tell if she needs help, or if shes just in a hurry

The squeeze pens tend to clog very easily....but maybe not if used on a regular basis. Back when I used correction fluid I preferred the brush on.

Aha! Yeah. So, have you tried a white paint marker? The ones you shake like spray paint and then write over the mistake? Let it dry and it turns into white out...
