I got an e-mail from Halx...sweet guy and doing well with his SO. Great to hear from him !

Hope it is alright to share it........xoxoxoo

So, I was walking around a rented house over the weekend in upstate New York, coming down from a magic mushroom trip, and the conversation with my fiance turned to underwear. This reminded me of something you once said to me: life is too short for cheap lingerie.

I shared that anecdote and then followed it up with a little reverence to you, Bobby, for being such an important contributor to the TFP during the years that I ran it. You basically kept the lights on and your attitude inspired a love of life and hedonism that still guides me today.

I truly hope you're doing well.

Bobby I love ya...you bring a lot to the table.
    More so than many...

But I’ll have to respectfully disagree with you here.

While I am grateful that we are able to enjoy his creation and came up with the original vision

It went askew for quite a few
And he hurt quite a few too.

I was privy to some of that...as have others.
I don’t throw rocks or bring up the past
I don’t allow attacking on others.

But I can’t just sit here and wax philosophic
Or say nothing about the negativity
It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth otherwise

People with great ideas can be wrong
And creative leaders can hurt others sometimes
I’m sure I’ve done some inappropriate things too
    We’re human.

I’m hoping he’s moved past it and to a better place
I don’t want this to become a beat up session
I also don’t want it to become a cheer section

I’d just like to acknowledge the good AND bad
    And move on ourselves

This is a wonderful place we have here
And I enjoy a lot that we participate in
Kinda like our countries all over the world
We can be proud of who we are and where we came from
But we should not ignore our pain points either.

Thanks Bobby for doing all that you do now
I know your hearts in the right place, I admire it.
I’m right there with you, most of the time.

    Respect

I had been away from TTFP for quite a while when The Big Changes were made. I have no idea what transpired, but I do know that I decided to walk away because some things here were getting out of hand. This place was extremely active, too active in some ways.

I'm sure that Halx faced some tough decisions, and didn't always make the right ones. Something that would've happened to anyone that position.

I hope that Halx is doing well.

Like Noyb above, I was away when whatever shenanigans transpired. I will tell you though, I hardly come back to this site anymore - it feels somewhat like a wake each time I do, or maybe a forgotten grave. There are many people who I miss interacting with, and too little activity.

    Thanks Bobby, for sharing.
