So far it’s been milder then norm here and that is the prediction. I can only hope they are right. Heating Oil is expensive.

Once again today warmer then usual and sunny. Still no snow cover except in the mountains and north of here. Keeping my fingers crossed. Hate snow.

I’ve been outside all day doing yard work and loving it. I raked leaves filled bird feeders and picked up dog poop. I know it doesn’t sound like fun but for January in New England it’s a picnic. If it wasn’t supposed to rain tonight I’d wash my pickup.

It's cold out, gonna get colder, gonna break some records. So cold I'll be able to use my diamond hard nipples to etch dirty ditties in the ice.

We are FINALLY inyo summer. Yesterday reached 41degC and today 40. Going to be mid 30's to high 30's all week. Nov and Dec were uncharacteristically colder by at least 7-10 degC.

I had just got back from the gym at 0715 this morning. My car said it was -8f. A lightweight rear wheel drive sports car may not have been the best choice for my daily driver, but I am still enjoying the car too much. The wide tires mean it sits on top of the snow instead of sinking in for bite, but I have not gotten stuck yet. [IMG]

With rwd it can really help to keep a full tank of gas. That extra 150lbs over the drive wheels certainly can't hurt. I definitely helped with my Gremlin. Of course it was no sports car.
