The Texans defense is nearly nonexistent, it had given up twenty-one unanswered points. The Texans offense has been nonexistent, hasn't done anything, much less scored any points.

    The worse news?

This could get even uglier for the Texans.

A major comeback is doubtful. At least not enough of one to win the game.

I was afraid of this. Outcoached. Outplayed.

Kudos to the defense, at least for most of the second half.

You Suck! to the offense in general, and Bill O'Brien in particular.

The Colts had the smoke-and-mirrors Texans number from the start.

Make note of this, it won't happen often: Congrats to the Cowboys for a tremendous team, O & D, effort.

Credit goes to Colts for having the Texans analyzed & beaten before the game ever started.

The Texans need to fire their OC. Oh wait, Bill O'Brien never hired an OC, which means he is the OC. So the Texans can save some paperwork when they fire Bill O'Brien.

I don't know if Romeo Crenel deserves to be fired, but his defense got shredded by the Colts. Seriously, is the Colts OL really that good? Yes, but that doesn't excuse the Texans porous defense.

There are more HC openings than there are proven coaches to fill them. Can the Texans handle another year of OB? Will they? Yes is the answer (unless someone decides to step up big time).

Y'know...I'm just not interest this year for some reason.
    Almost seems SSDD.
Which is not fair to the gridiron warriors, or the fans...but that's how I feel.

Enjoy it...maybe if I actually got out to a stadium and saw it live.
I think that would kick start me.

I'm now following the games only by quick checks on the net. I might watch the SB, but only if the Patriots aren't playing. And gawd forbid the cowgirls make it.

The Texlers are going to need to make some major positive moves to win me back as a fan.

Well, doing better than the Raiders....and they'll just get worse in Vegas.

Gruden has made some extremely questionable moves. The Raider are in trouble if their stockpile of draft choices don't contribute fairly quickly. Or will he use some to make trades?

I'm not seeing anything about OB being on the hot seat (again), or being "asked" to hire an OC. This concerns me.

    I don’t think it’s Gruden
I think it’s the owner, trying to make it a sour pill to swallow for the city
Encourage them to let go of legal crap and lawsuits
And let the team move to Vegas easy

Gruden is just the hatchet man.
Which would be surprising for a man of his rep
But he may be stuck by contract and money

A couple of HC hirings that will be interesting to follow:

Kitchens/Browns. From RBC to interim OC to HC. I hope that he hires the right people for the positions, he'll need some experienced help.

Kingsbury/Cardinals. Score as often as possible, don't try to stop the other team, and hope for the best. An interesting philosophy....not for the NFL.

It wouldn't bother me if the Colts or Chargers or even my beloved LA Rams win it all. Other then that I could care less. Anybody but the Patriots in my opinion and yes I'm from New England.

Somebody forgot to tell the Chiefs. I do think that the Colts will be an even better team next season, the Texans won't be able to sleepwalk to the AFCS title.

Thank you, Rams. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The stats indicate the cowgirls should've lost by 50 points. I so hope that jackass jerry still thinks that garrett deserves a long extension.

I read that the Bengals fired Hue Jackson. His removal should make Bengals fans very happy.

The Saints cooled off considerably at the end of the regular season, but so did the Rams. I lean towards Brees' experience and home field advantage for the Saints. Close, unless Goff chokes.

    Well, crap.

I don't like the Patriots, but I have to give them credit, esp for the TD drive in OT.

And I have to give credit to the Chiefs defense for NOT being able to stop the Patriots when it mattered, esp in the fourth quarter, and most esp in OT.

Credit to officiating crew for the completely incompetent non-call that most certainly didn't allow the Saints to wrap up a win.

Congrats to the Rams kicker, his name escapes me, for his long FGs.

As I previously mentioned, I won't watch the Patriots in another SB. They're going to blow out the Rams. Although I'd love to see the Rams, and Wade Phillips' defense, destroy the Patriots (ok, I'd settle for a close win).
