Not my car. I got the pic out of a news feed. No real damage 'cause the hail was only about pea size. There was just a hell of a lot of it. Drifted two feet deep in places.

I would have driven through Omaha around 9pm on Monday. Weather was fine; but the light show was pretty dramatic.

    Fucking hot.
I know 90F doesn't seem like much to those of you in warmer climes but in Alaska it is fucking ridiculous .
Add to that having big chunks of our state going up in flames and I have a good idea of what hell might be like.

It seems only yesterday folks around here were complaining how cold and rainy it was. Ah, for the good old days.

Just gonna be hot and humid. Mid to upper 90's with heat indexes over 100.

    The official news
Heat wave relief in sight after scorching temps blamed for several deaths, buckled roads — Fox News

Yeah, yesterday at the outdoor Dave Mathews concert was sweltering
I drank more water than beer.

Then again, I did a lot of beer with my Cajun meal before we went. That stuffed me and sated my need for a buzz.

Just got a nice large Reverb canister filled it with ice and water...that lasted me the concert.

I was exhausted by the time we got to our room
    That cool shower was awesome
