House barrels toward impeachment decisions as Democratic resistance crumbles — The New York Times

    There’s still a probe
    Just different people doing it.

Basically, ongoing investigations into Mr T and associates

Question is...will Dems actually followup and follow through??

Did the GOP get impacted by the impeachment?
Or was it because it was a railroad job based on an affair??

So... will the public support it, IF there’s a better reason.
I think so...they supported the push on Nixon
And punished Ford for letting him off.

In the end, the American public is linear
They want justice...for a good reason.

Right now, it looks like T pulled a Nixon
And admitted to it. (Sorry, can’t take it back now)

Sooner or later a person lies and antics catch up with them.
Question is...do they have the balls and will to enforce it??

    I have a feeling they’ll find more
    And it will get messier
    And weirder

And the thing is not whether T did something
It’s whether Dems will actually stand up for principle
    And stop the political manipulation

Take a hint from Warren and Obama, Dems
They’ll come to you if you give them a hard straight answer
    Not gray pandering

This morning, Trump made a false claim in a tweet (all caps, no less)

Later in the morning, the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (who was appointed by Trump issued a statement defending the whistleblower and, in effect, saying Trump's claim about a "rule change" was false.

    And now...
Trump may have lied to Mueller, House Democrats say

So first Mr T gets himself into trouble doing a Nixonian thing
Directly and illegally getting dirt on your political opponent.

Now, he’s pulling a Clinton, lying under oath.

Next thing you’ll know, he’ll do something like Johnson
Hey...did anyone say “civil war” lately??

    Hmph...can’t do anything original, y’know?

    Y’know what they say
It’s not the crime, it’s the coverup
    In Mr Ts case,
It’s the coverup of the investigation of the coverup

Is that obstruction of justice squared??

That is his MO though. If he commits the crimes out in the open, the media and laws don't know how to react. When there is a secret phone call and it was hidden away, and there is information that the journalists have to find, and congress can drag people in for questioning, they know how to deal with that.

But, the bigger issue is that there is a culture war, and the conservatives/republicans have no problem with any crimes as long as their side is winning. They don't want the Democrats to take over and pass laws and regulations to destroy the conservative culture. Yeah Trump has broken the law, but he won't make abortion legal, ban people from owning guns, tax the rich out of existence, give healthcare to lazy poor minorities, crush coal rolling trucks, and minimize religion.

Yep. The Chair of the FEC jumped right in retweeting one of her own tweets from earlier in the summer.

Again, raising the question of when Republicans in Congress will say "enough is enough" and put the Constitution and the rule of law above protecting Trump's sorry ass.

How many smoking guns, red hands, & bloody knives would it take to get the Senate to actually impeach The Shyster?

I don't see circumstantial evidence, or evidence that might possibly be open to interpretation, getting him booted.

And I want to what the hell The Shyster's personal attorney, Rudy "The Snake" Giuliani, is doing involving himself in US politics. Perhaps the probe will reach the point where client confidentiality declared invalid because The Snake became agent.

Giuliani should be referred to as Counselori.
