New year acceptance and changes

As 2020 approaches and everyone starts thinking about specific changes they may way to make, I have been doing the same.

While not at all new, this past year was spent coming to terms with my personal desires. I historically tend to defer to others in most areas of life and had found myself feeling depleted as a result.

After working through some things in therapy, one aspect I was able to accept about myself and want to pursue further has been my sexual desires. Specifically for me, it is really enjoying wearing pantyhose and stiletto pumps. I've had the desire for many years and even tried it here and there, but I am now to the place where I am able to communicate it to myself and my wife and have realized I don't want to continue avoiding it in hopes of being more "normal"

And while I would love advice from anyone in a similar hosiery/heels/crossdressing scenario, my question or scenario posed is more generic. I am interested in how others have come to specific self-discoveries and how they were able to integrate them into their already established lives and maintain the majority of their existence while adding to it.

I'm closing in on 50 and enjoying it.
I'm much more relaxed about my sexuality, and care much less about what others think or might think.
It's a nice place to be.
