    Jason Garrett.

Seriously, how can a HC have major disagreements with the GM, when he can't make his case to anyone higher up, because the owner is the GM?

Disappointed that the Patriots lost at home. They should have had that game, but they've been going down since mid-season. 49ers Ravens is my guess for Miami.

The fact that the Pats didn't
    Bounce Back With A Vengeance
after losing to the Dolphins says a lot about their slide.

Suppose the Patriots let Brady move on (a necessary move, IMO), use the 2020 season to audition QBs & retool, and Belichick starts working his magic in 2121?

Joe Judge goes from being the Patriots special teams coordinator to the Panthers HC. That's quite a leap; we'll see how that works out.

The 49ers dominated. I think the announcers were correct when they said the two weeks of rest versus five days made a difference.

Did Brady REALLY force the Patriots to trade Garropolo? A stupid move regardless of the reason(s).

Two 4th & short stoppages, and on one the Ravens gave up (almost certainly) 3 points.

    A TD pass by Henry.

And now a strip sack of Jackson. And another Titans TD!

    WOW!

I'm seeing it, but I'm not sure I'm believing it.

Texlers up 21-0, with time left in 1st quarter.

Giving up 21 points in about 3 1/2 minutes; these are the Texlers I'm used to seeing.

    Dear Tal McNair,

There are several talented offensive coordinators in the NFL who are still available for head coaching positions. No doubt there are some very good defensive coaches interested in becoming defensive coordinator.

    Sincerely,
    Texans Fans

I guess the Texlers wanted to join the Oilers in The Biggest Playoffs Chokes in the NFL Hall of Shame. How in the hell do you blow a 24 point lead? The Texlers defense set several new incompetence records.

The Ravens loss was a stunner, but at least they didn't give away the game.

Yes, they're still the Houston Texlers. Maybe the Titans will sell the rights to the old Oilers fight song (it totally sucks, sounds like something a middle school team might have used during the 1950s).

    I feel for you man.
I suffered watching my Bills do it last week, and I know what it feels like.

Your Bills lost to the (now fully exposed) pretender Texlers, which isn't good esp in retrospect, but the Bills are a young team who potentially have a big upside.

The Texlers, however, have no excuses for their incompetence, and PURE SHIT "performance."
    Blowing a 24 point lead.
Giving up three TDs /21 point in less than 3 1/2 minute.
Going into half time trailing 27-24.
    Giving up 41 unanswered points.
Adding only one TD in nearly three quarters.

If the "Cinderella" Titans had done the above against the Ravens people would be at least partially forgiving. The Texlers weren't supposed to win, but they were supposed to be a good football team, certainly good enough to take advantage of a 24 point lead.

Romeo Crennel has had long & mostly successful career in the NFL, and he's old. Out of respect he should be allowed to announce his "retirement."

Bill O'Brien needs to be fired, even if it means honoring his contract and paying him (Is there a legal out if he takes another job?). Do not let OB continue to waste the talent.

Take an "adjustment" season with a new HC & coaching staff. Put together an experienced scouting team, they'll need it after OB & the "committee" traded away the future for Tunsil & Stills (I must mention the idiotic handling of Clowney). Figure out how Rick Smith (at least in his early years) found so many sleepers usuing low draft picks.

    That really was unbelievable.
We took a 3 day vacation this weekend and we were in the car traveling back home yesterday afternoon.
We stopped for an early dinner, my daughter asked how the Chiefs-Texans game was going so I pulled up the score on my phone and it was 27-24.
I told her it must be a really good tight game.
I never imagined how it had gotten to that point.
Was shocked when I read about it today.

Some bad news from the Univ of Houston: The Cougars former starting QB D'Eriq King is going to transfer. When he redshirted himself he said he would return to the program. Very few people believed him, and in all fairness the Cougars football team was/is a mess.

My guess, no christell ball required, is he wants to take his talents to a Big Name School, chase a Heisman Trophy, and improve his chances in the draft.

The Titans, with a 3rd year "underqualified" HC, a less talented roster, and a retread QB, put up a better fight than did the Texlers.

The Packers, like the Seahawks, had a good record filled with too many close wins against mediocre teams. Their lackluster performance (ignore the two way-too-late TDs) did not surprise me.

I see two factors looming large in the SB. Garoppolo's shortcomings as a passer, and Reid's history of bad decisions in crunch situations and poor clock management.

Mahommes & Co. will get the win despite Reid. The 49ers will stay close enough to threaten, and keep things interesting, but will lose by 10. Maybe 27-17, or 30-20.

    I forgot...

It appears that defensive coordinator Romeo Crenel is very, very quietly being "removed" by the Texlers. He's either retiring, or moving to a consultant position.

The 49ers might kick a late FG to lose by 7.

    Is there a spread yet?
In my mind at least this looks like a pretty close match up.
I'd be surprised if it's more than 3 points either direction.

    Chiefs by two earlier today.

At least I think that's what I read.
