Plus, they will be thoroughly boooed at every stadium they visit.

The people who do the music at the stadiums should play some special songs for the Astros.

    Freezeframe, J. Geils Band.

    Signs, Five Man Electrical Band.

    I have no idea.

Does it interfere with the electronic device he wears under his shirt to receive info regarding stolen pitching signs? OK, seriously, I hope that Altuve wasn't wearing such a thing and doesn't have a "we told you so" collapse this season.

i herd this morning that in spring training their have been 5 or 6 astros hit while batting....... and so it begins.

i think the commissioner is going to loose quite abit of credibility from the players if something is not done.

One of our local TV sportscasters--who is a total team asssuck/cheerleader when it comes to covering our teams--pointed out the Astros are getting hit by off-speed pitches. I don't know if his observations are accurate, but it would make sense if teams wanted to send a message to the Astros without seriously injuring someone.

But if true, how long before the batter(s), and the entire team, start fighting back? If a pitcher intentionally hit me, I'd be extremely tempted to hit him with the bat. At least sling the bat in his general direction.

Some action before it gets out of control is/will be needed.

I herd something this morning to the affect that they are going to try to start the season on July 1st.

The owners have a proposal and they presented it to the players union. We will see what the players say.

A lot of testing, sequestering teams, playing in a limited number of stadiums in areas that were not hit hard by Covid-19.

Personally if they dont take a prorated amount their will be ALOT of pissed off people. Some folks dont have a job and will look at like the players are just greedy

I think the issue won't be the money, it will be being sequestered, depending on who they can bring with them.

    I'm thinking it's a math problem.

The players want to make sure they don't end up losing a larger percentage of money than the owners. Or at least keep it from being ridiculously disproportionate.

Trying to calculate the above can not be easy.

That also figures into it Chris. They will be risking their health to play ball and be sequestered.
