Who's up to give this shit another go?

It's been, *cough* a while since I set foot in a gym (and I don't even belong to the gym that came up with this thing anymore)—COVID nothwithstanding—and I need to whip my ass back into shape. I'm probably going to need some help, since clearly I haven't managed to do so on my own as of yet.

    Need. Moar. Accounability.

    ...any takers?

Oh heck no. Is there something easier?
I will start out with 1/10 the recommended workout.

Probably not. It's taken me three months to get decent numbers using the Ibex Marcy Air Rider.

    You got it.
I need to get a move on too.
This will provide incentive and momentum

I'll start on Monday after my vacation.
I did it last time, while at work.

    Day 1 done:

    25 leg lifts
    50 squats
    15 modified push ups
: since my flat push up form, and strength, is for shit right now, I’m going to up the count and do them elevated until I get some strength back and my shoulder stops complaining so much. #accountability

Also, @rogue49 if it weren’t for your post on Friday, I probably would have put off starting this another week, maybe more. So thank you.

My dog is going, “What the hell are ya doing??”

The leg lifts I can do easily
Push-ups are a bit more challenging with my old arm injury
Since I weigh a solid 280, squats are the worst
Best method is to break them up in sets...today 25,15,10 for 50

But I enjoy this, it gives me a focus and rationale
    Something to be obligated to

    I’m a procrastinator otherwise

Day 2 done and over with early

No guarantee I’ll do it that way
Just had some time before my meeting to kick it out

Need to get some curls in later today
Work the guns other than just tri’s on the push-ups

    Maybe some delts too

Well, I had to have breakfast, some coffee and walk the dog first.
But I did kick it out in the morning

This is not directly related to the Fitness Challenge, but since this thread is active...

I'm plateauing on the Ibex Marcy Air Rider. My last three 'rides' have been nearly identical in time, calories, & miles. And I just can't seem to bump the calories while maintaining, or more hopefully lowering, the time. In my mind an hour is plenty, but an increase in calories is needed to show increasing effort.

Well, there's the TFP Health Club, which I bumped back to the top for adding health thoughts....
I quoted your post and answered over there, sir.

Ok, finally kicked out day 5
It was a hectic day at work...lots to do on my boss’ last day

I like doing the leg lifts really slow
    Get nice negs in

Actually, I’m starting to work on my form more
Make sure it’s not quick, but done right
Get the most out of it...now that I’ve gotten into it.

    Day 6 did late

Although most of my exercise was from carrying my dog
The full length of the beach boardwalk

Decided to have a nice long stroll with her near sunset
She managed to get her leash caught under a park statue
    And couldn’t get it out...
So lost a good leash and needed to go all the way back
She’s not light...the little food hound. Ugh. :|

    So back workout
    Arm workout
    And some trudging cardio.

I rode about 9.5 miles with my bike laden down with 30lbs of groceries.... and it was mostly flat, but not completely. That was fun.
