If I ever got to the point that I needed it for it's ultimate purpose then it's already a bad day.

If I may ask, about how much does something like that run?

A model 1911 is on my wish list. I will have one someday. I love the way they shoot. Big caliber but still controllable

About $120. It is also available in a half serrated and fully serrated blade. I like the plain edge though. Looks more elegant.

The second handgun I ever shot was a Wilson Combat 1911, IIRC it was in Tactical Elite trim.

Ruined me for anything else for a long time. That was a nice gun.

If I had larger hands I'd take a good look at a 10mm even though it's kind of an 'oddball' caliber. Two-handed shooting would work, but I like for a handgun to fit & feel natural in one hand.

Don't worry, I'm sure Magpul with release imitation kahr mags soon that cost 50% of the OEM's price and are 10% as reliable. Problem solved !

My photos are coming, but it may take a little time. I've got 51 assorted firearms to photograph. I'm going to try to group them into five shots: handguns, rifles (semi-auto), rifles (all other), shotguns, and finally, NFA firearms (machine guns and suppressed rifles.) It'll take a while to empty out the safe and organize things. :)

Today marks five years since I bought a sword at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

I had coveted a sword of my own since middle school. I bought one as an unsupervised adult with a debit card, and I have never regretted it.

Now all I need is to find someone to train me on using it properly and effectively. Cause you know I'm gonna need it someday. Sure, it may very well be a poorly crafted piece of shit, but I don't particularly care. It's better than nothing.... I think?

(Photos of other knives and shit coming sometime whenever.)

Cool. Are you mentally prepared to stab/slash someone and have their potentially diseased blood get into your eyes/mouth?

    Face guard.

And, theoretically, I am mentally prepared for that.

I bought a Ruger PC takedown carbine (9mm) a couple months ago, as an emergency survival rifle for my 4x4.

I put an EOTech EXPS2 Holosight on it,

and got a nondescript breakdown case for it that doesn't scream "GUN!" The rifle will take Glock 19 magazines, so I keep four loaded 30-round mags in the case with the rifle and I'm good to go!

Not me. Not my rifle. I did recently purchase a Henry Big Boy Classic in .44 magnum/.44 special, which is what he is shooting.
