It's nice to root for the Texans again.

Even if this season and the next could be rough.

Edit--So of course they give up a TD just as I finished typing.

Dak Prescott injured his leg (no details yet). I didn't know that Andy Dalton was the backup QB in Dallas.

DeAndre Hopkins continues to be the number one receiver in the NFL.

Prescott broke his ankle, surgery is set for tomorrow I think. When I showed my wife she said, "I feel his pain, and now he'll know what I felt last year." Good to see Dalton lead the comeback, though I don't like the Cowboys.

I hope Dak has a successfull surgery and a complete recovery.

And I hope that Andy Dalton doesn't suddenly return to say 2015 form. Normally I love to root for a journeyman QB, but Dalton had his time/chances as a starter, and he plays for the....cowgirls.

    They did surgery last night.
yes it was a gruesome injury. it reminded me of Lawerence Taylor and Joe Thiesman. I dont think Thiesman ever played again

Dalton was not a bad QB in Cincinnati. He just didnt have the protection, or the players to help him. Bit I hope he thrives in D, even though i dont like the cowboys.

I hope his contract that he signed had a clause that he gets paid even if injured.

It was nice to see Alex Smith come in and play decent. But at the same time it was scary. He had a long recovery. It was almost 2 years to the day since he had played. Im sure he could have retired and walked off into the sunset, but he wanted to prove that he could come back. I saw where his wife and kids were cheering him on

The Vikings almost pulled out the win. Wilson managed two 4th down conversions, one 4th & 10, and one 4th & goal, on the game winning drive. Amazing.

Oh, I did miss the last 00:15. I'm guessing the Seahawks did not give up a TD on the kickoff.

Maybe if Dalton thrives, but the team doesn't. I'm not completely sold on him being a wasted talent with the Bengals under Marv Lewis. But the main thing is Dalton is now in the position to show that he is, or isn't, better than "slightly above average."

And let's not forget the NFC East could be won by the Gainesville Grannies if such a team existed. Gainesville is a small town north of Dallas, near the Oklahoma border.

Is draft order strictly by record?
I could see a team winning the NFC East this year and still having a top 10 draft pick.......

NFL trade rumors has stafford being traded to Dallas.....
I love stafford, I love the Lions, I fucking hate the cowboys....

that would be a horrible trade. lets say that it happens what happens next year?

Justin Herbert looks damn good for a rookie that got thrown to the wolves. I think the chargers will be a team to look out for in the future.

Kinda odd tonight. Tuesday night football.
And if im not mistaken, The Bills play tonight and they are scheduled to play Thursday night also. Thats a quick turn around

Why would the girls want Dalton and Stafford? Yes, both have plenty of experience as starters, but is either actually better than the offense they have/had to work with? Maybe if the two had to seriously fight to stay, either as temp starter or backup.

Herbert really looked good last night. Expecting more good things in his future.
Bills play tonight and they moved the KC game to Monday night.

The Titans are on fire. I need to look up Tannehill's pay, am curious to know if he was a bargain when the Dolphins had their fire sale.

    29.5M a year, 7th highest paid QB.

The big question is have the Bill's matured enough to shake this off, or is their confidence badly shaken?

Conversely, will the Titans get over the big win, and concentrate on taking care of business? IIRC the Texans will help answer that question.

I think Bell is in for a rude awakening. RBs are not the commodity they used to be. Certainly there are a few teams that feature stud RBs, and in some games the rushing will make a big difference, but overall it seems like multipurpose backs are in demand.

    Damned autocorrect.
