    Rough?
    You are being too kind.
Thy failed on offense, failed on defense and failed on special teams.
It's giving me bad flashbacks to seasons past.
If the defense doesn't get injured players back on the field and get their shit together Mahomes could score 80 points.

I thought the Titans might be distracted by their big win over the Bill's. Nope, they started strong. I give the Texans credit for hanging tough. But we have about 15 minutes to go.

Oh, nice missed field goal, Titans.

This could be viewed as a moral victory....but the Texans made the OT TD way too easy for the Titans.

At least it was better what OB would've managed.

Mahomes is still in a slump, but it didn't matter against the Bills.

The girls, mostly Elliot, gave the game to the Cardinals. But in the NFC East a 2-4 record isn't the end of the season unless those losses are against division rivals. Could we have a 6-10 division champ?

The Texans should play for pride. It'll help attract better HC and GM candidates, and tanking for better draft position makes no sense when those picks are not theirs.

Will Adam Gase make it through this season?

Personally any team that "tanks" for a better pick is stupid.
How do you tell anyone on the team to be easy and not play so hard. If that happens then anyone that is on another team the following year is already off to a bad start. How do you explain to the new team mates or HC that Yeah coach i was asked to play easy, thats why my film looks like shit its just dumb and it opens the door for people to get hurt

There are people who say tanking by the actual players isn't a reality.
Tanking can take several forms. Having the entire team play down might be the rarest.

Getting rid of your better players so that your starters are actually backup players at best is common (Dolphins). As is keeping really bad coaches who deserve to be fired (Jets & Gase).

Creating division between the offense and defense. Crappy play on one side of the ball will eventually bring down play on the other side.

Coaches who see the handwriting on the wall might not care about reduced effort by players. Coachs will understand why certain players had a downturn. Owners will know why certain coaches had off years.

I think in professional sports experienced folks understand how tanking works. The better players and coaches won't have being caught in an intentional tanking situation held against them.

You are right, but you know what i mean

I really dont understand why the dolphins are benching Fitzpatrick so Tua can play. To me that makes no since on so many levels, and one of them is hes gonna get hurt

I can't see Gase making it through the season and I have no idea how anyone in the future might even consider him for a job.
The Jets are awful. I'm a long time Bills fan, I know bad football when I see it and the Jets are a dumpster fire.
Look at what's happening with Darnold under him.
Look at what happened to Tannehill when he got away from him.

He could've and should've made that one of the best events in NFL history.

I don't know which is appropriate, congratulations or ridicule.

Can you imagine being a starting QB and hearing that your entire starting offensive line might be out for your game Sunday?
I'd be on the next flight out of the country!

Antonio Brown signed a one year deal with the Buccaneers, and is eligable to play after his 8 game suspension. That should be interesting. I figured he would have gone to Seattle. He spent alot of off season work outs with Russell Wilson.
Rumor has it that the falcons are considering trading Matt Ryan and/or Julio Jones either this year or during the off season. Not sure how i feel about that

I can NOT fathom any coach in the NFL, no matter how desperate, wanting Brown on their team. I'm thinking his signing is Brady's doing. And when your QB's wants override the coach's wants you have problems. Even if Brady turns back time, his playing days are numbered.

But Bruce Arians did sign Suh, so who knows?

Trade rumors involving struggling teams abound. Here the rumor is the Texans let it be known they're open to offers for JJ Watt. I love Watt, but the reality is he's going into the tail end of his career, and he's had at least two serious injuries in the past three years. He wouldn't bring much (unless the Texans deal with a GM as incompetent as Bill O'Brien was), but he could be a salary dump in exchange for at least something. Again, who knows?

@Chris Noyb I agree, who in their right mind would want Brown?? Reminds me of all the things T.O. did back in the day. I think they are giving Brady wayyyy to much of what he wants. Hw will only be their for a year or 2, MAYBE 3 (doubt 3). Brady is way past his prime and seems like hes just holding on to what little he has left. He wanted Gronk, he got him and look at how few catches he has.
A coach is the coach for a reason, the QB is not the coach, nor should they be. Seems like Tampa has is giving Brady too much leeway.

It sure seems like short term thinking......the kind short term thinking that Bellichik wouldn't indulge.
That's part of the reason Brady left.
