Maybe. If you can believe some of the news media, Brady won two battles with Belichick, the Garoppolo trade, and signing Brown. Bill Belichick and Antonio Brown? That would've been a time bomb.

I figured the Packers would be ready to reestablish themselves.

And they just made it 21-0 over the Texans.

Now the cowboys need ANOTHER qb.

Gurley was pissed at himself, left 1 minute on the clock for stafford to come back, he is known for that.
But why are you trying to get to the one yard line, Just run the clock out. That was a coaching error.

How long will Dalton be under the concussion protocol? The girls might want to consider a long term QB capable of keeping Dalton on the bench. But as I understand it they're going to face salary cap issues.

The Texans offense was...offensive. Take away the late garbage time drive & TD and they were pathetic.

The Bills won, but just barely over a really bad team. All is not well in Bison land.

Are the Cardinals crossing the line from possible pretender to real contender? The Seahawks might think so.

Anybody feeling sorry for Belichick and the Patriots? Is Cam going to man up like a pro, or shut down like a hurt child?

    Right on.
The Cowboys sure look like they need to trade a bunch of expensive guys and do a tear down and rebuild.....but with such poor competition in the NFC East, and them being the Cowboys, they never will.

The Bills? They worry me. In three weeks, having played the Pats, Seahawks and Cardinals, we are going to know who they really are.

Ouch. Some things to consider: The Patriots are no longer the "automatic loss" they once were. The Seahawks like to play with fire. The Cardinals might still have some inconsistency.

I thought it was fucked up that when Dalton got hurt not one member of the cowboys even seemed to give a shit. It seemed like they didnt have his back.

The rams looked good last night.

The girls probably can't afford a backup that qualifies as competent to start. Dalton wasn't cheap, and Prescott's upcoming contract is going to hit the girls hard. Jackass Jerry is going to have some tough decisions to make.

This' a stretch....at one time Brady was Tom who?.

Lots of teams are going to have salary cap issues next year but the Cowboys have to be way up at the top of the list.
So much expensive talent and so much failure year after year.
I know the highlight of my 2019 season was the Bills beating them on Thanksgiving.

THERE'S the real Bears team we know and love. Luck runs out, finally. No running game, poor play calling by the coaches, it's business as usual. Ugh.

If the top teams, the real teams, can maintain their respective momentum, the playoffs this year should be awesome. Getting to skip the wildcard could be even more significant than normal. Depending on covid-19 protocols home field advantage might not mean much.

AFC North. Am I missing something, or are the Steelers, Ravens, and even the Browns, quietly flying under the radar?

I don't know about quiet.....but they and the NFC West sure are the powerhouses this year.

The nfc east is the exact opposite. realistically, the winner of the nfc east could be 5-11

I'm picturing NFC East teams going into the last week of the season: If they win, they are division champions and going to the playoffs. If they lose they are drafting in the top 10.

I've read & heard some opinions that being division champ shouldn't automatically mean making the POs.
The reasoning is the champ from a weak division , such as the NFC East, makes for an easy opponent. While other much better teams miss the POs.

I think that @Borla posted a thorough explanation of the PO formula in one of the earlier NFL threads.

The only story I'm finding dates back to 2018, a one year contract, and was false (to my knowledge he has never signed with the girls).

The only reason I can think of for any team signing Little Johnny is price, he's probably desperate enough to sign for the league minimum.

I think the simple truth is Little Johnny isn't good enough for the NFL. Although an asshole like jackass jerry might decide he knows better than all the other GMs in the NFL.

Cam Newton gifted the Bills a victory with his end of game fumble.
And how is Eagles/Cowboys the prime time game tonight when the Steelers played the Ravens earlier?
