Yeah, sorry about that. Don't know what's got into the Bears today. I mean, we even got a safety! Trubisky was 8 for 8 at one point.

Dog and cats living together. Total biblical mayhem!

The Texans are embarrassingly bad. This kind of performance won't help them impress potential HC & GM candidates.

But let's give the Bears credit. Their offense took a huge lead, and the defense is helping them maintain it. Oh, they just got their 5th sack of Watson.

Seems like teams have figured out the steelers...

i think its time for Matt Ryan to either go, or for the falcons to draft a qb and let Ryan mentor him

I was glad to see Herbert get his first win as a starter. I think he will be rookie of the year.

were the saints that bad, or did a new qb in philly make a difference?

    How bad is Staffords injury?

    Will the eagles trade carson?

The first half of the game last night was like watching paint dry. Such a let down for a game we had circled on the schedule in August as being "the big one."
Thankfully the second half was better and justified staying up until 11:30.

I don't know how they can trade Wentz with that giant contract. What is he worth to another team? Maybe 1/3 of what's in his contract?

Last nights game was a good one.
Mayfield seems to be have come a long way, compared to last year.

    yes wentz contract is huge.

will the chargers fire Anthony Lynn?

    AGAIN? Seriously? Fucking Texans.

At least this time it was a great effort by the Coutee and tremendous play by the defender.

Good news: The "All-Mighty" Patriots were eliminated from the POs.

Even with Tampa Bay, Brady gets the fucking calls. What a fucking bullshit mark of the ball. Refs must have wanted to get out early. The ball was short by about an inch with the generous spot, should have been about half a yard. NFL is a fucking joke.

On the other hand, Falcons choke again.

I rarely *seriously* dislike individual cowgirls players,
Maryanne Barber was an exception. But the snubs as a slap to jackass jerry's face works for me.

The Steelers need to get their shit together before the POs start.

When the HC & GM searches really seriously begin (post playoffs, not the recent OK), I'll be curious to see what happens with Bill O'Brian. Will a NFL team desperate for a "quick turn around now" hire him? Or will he wind up back in college ball (my prediction)?

Mentioning HC searches...Marvin Lewis has been mentioned as interviewing with the Texans. I sincerely hope that if this happens, it's purely obligatory. I don't want him anywhere near the Texans, not even to temporarily oversee a rebuilding year; the 2021/2022 season is going to be rough.

I dont think a GM should also be the HC. Its just not smart.

Will Anthony Lynn make it another year?

If Lynn gets canned, it's going further strain the limited number of proven or reasonably viable HC candidates.

That might not be a bad thing. Remember that Vrabel was high risk hire by the Titans, and he was very rarely mentioned as a serious HC candidate with the Texans. I mention that because some teams might have to reach outside of their respective comfort zone.

The Texans gave up 37 points to the Bengals.

    The Bengals.

Come on, Eagles, eliminate the cowgirls.
    Please eliminate the cowgirls.

WTF, the Jets won 2 in a row.

The Jaguars fans were cheering when the bears scored. But now the jags secured the #1 pick, Guess Trevor will be a Jaguar.

Koo is a money kicker, how did he miss that?

I saw an interview with JJ Watt, he seems pissed that the team is not playing at their potential, He said "I feel sorry for the fans, some people on this team are not playing at 100%, almost like they have given up. You dont do that"

Great statistic I saw in the paper today:
Bellichik has coached three seasons for the Patriots without Brady.
In those years they are 22-24 and have not made the playoffs.

And yes I want the Bills to destroy the Pats tonight.
Not that it matters in the standings but seeing Patriot tears is just so sweet!
