There are a multitude of sex toys for both sexes. There are plenty that are made for couples to enjoy at the same time as well. You can pick from mild to wild, from boring to scrape off the ceiling as well as different enhancers such as flavored gels, climax controllers etc. You don't have to spring for a magic wand straight out the gate, you can start with a simple egg to enhance clitoral stimulation. I don't know many guys who object to sex toys/enhancements, unless they have a serious self-esteem issue somewhere.

Between shoes and sex toys/furniture I'm surprised I'm not in the poor house by now.

My wife claims she can't get off without a vibrator. She also claims that she can't have an orgasm alone even with a vibrator. Guess it takes my "magic touch":p We've been using vibrators for over 20 years. The good news is when she does get off she has multiple orgasms...often 5 to 10 or more.

I bought my sweetie a Hitachi Magic Wand yesterday. I only just saw this thread today. It's good to know it has good reviews on TFP!

I also got this Wonder Wand attachment:

I am hoping it works well. Does anyone have any experience with it? I wonder how well the rubber transmits the vibrations.
I am also wondering how useful the optional variable speed controller is. I understand the 2 speeds on the magic wand can be too harsh. This could be a possible Valentine's gift.

The Canadian prices are a little high here in Kingston. I paid $85 for the magic wand and $18 for the Wonder Wand.

I am hoping we can try both out tonight. I have them wrapped and in a pink bag next to the bed. I'll let her open them early!

I think someone on this forum mentioned that harshness can be reduced by having layers of cloth between the wand's head and the area to be stimulated. In principle, the variable speed controller sounds good ... I'm wondering whether one could cobble up a generic rheostat for a lot less. In England the bespoke variable controller is rather costly.
The Wonder Wand attachment ... I think we need to know how hard/soft the rubber/plastic is. I've seen it advertised, but I'd assumed that it would at least have a rigid core, to facilitate chosen leverage.
Please do give feedback. 'Which?' magazine has not covered vibrators, and I have sometimes been leary of reviews done on the websites of the shops which sell them. I'd be interested to I know if the wand is direction in its vibrations, or whether it does so in all directions.

Never tried that one since I don't like the wand. I only like something that hits that button. The wand is too big to hit the right spot for me.

    Fake Hitachi Magic Wand?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250958802605?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

    Intro
Short of fixing an offset cam in the chuck of my Dremel and constructing a small safety-cage, I thought I could rig a linkage between one of these wands and my Classix Prostate Pro. My initial reaction, as a prude, was 'Oh Bloody Hell'
Then I read somewhere that they are great for clearing the sinuses. My sensible, 'for medicinal use' excuse had arrived, so I clicked eBay 'buy'.

    Serious bit
What arrived did not have HV-250 R on the box, has different pictures from what I've seen on either the box in the ad. Furthermore, though it had a non-english plug, it is working at 240 volts, and says it's 20 watts at 6, 500 per min on low and 7,900 on high. My understanding is that Hitachi only ever made them at 110 volts, that it is 24 Watts and has different vibes per minute.

My belief is that I have got some imitation, and I am contemplating contacting the seller to inform them and see what they want to do.
First, though, I wanted to double check with you guys, because I don't want to hassle someone just on my whim and speculation.
What I've done so far, is to look at Hitachi specs on Amazon dot com, and to search on Amazon, eBay and Google to see if there are any warnings about fake wands. I have been unable to find 'fake wand' alerts.

    What I'm asking here is:
Have any of you come across fake Hitachi wands?
Have any of you seen real ones with the specs I've described?
Any further thoughts about my next steps?

    Thanks :)
