I really dislike House Hunters International. There is something that smacks of privilege in it that I just can't stand. No, I don't find it entertaining to watch upper middle class Americans move overseas.

I do like almost anything with Gordon Ramsay. Yes, he's a jerkface. But he says what he is thinking, and that's more than most people can say. He's great in Kitchen Nightmares, and I really like MasterChef.

That's really about it for me.

I like cooking competition and some others on FN. I find it actually useful, I do learn cooking tricks and tips.

But the housewives, the unmarried people (spell check why you let me down on batchlorohfuckit) the addicted ppl, the child porn pageants shit..sick attention whoring. Gold plated dogshit.

    all the fake criptozoology ...
Thanks to all this vacuous garbage that 1/2 of america is also much more available to conspiracy garbage. (I think anyway)
Maybe the world is flat ? Maybe the world is shaped like a Fritos Scoop chip ? Well, we are going to explore these ideas in earnest with Mr. Credible handsome Joe Underwearmodel...

It's a joke that addiction shows, horders living in garbage and tragically obease people shows are any help, or educating people. It's total exploitation.
Should one feel better their flab apron only covers fly on their pants when hey, that guy can't even roll himself out of bed ? That he hasn't seen his own dick in the last 6 years ?

Yeah I just amped up the weird movie thread with heinous exploitation film but that was the 70s and those flicks live down deep rabbit holes and they are movies not reality..
These new shows are on History and Learning channels on mainstream america's dinner table ( your lap on the tv watching couch)
These channels started as legit alternative to PBS type content and now it's utter ceptic tank dregs.
Sorry for rant...I like This Old House. I wish they did more Mid Century Modern.

Staged "reality" isn't my thing. I'm not sure how many "reality" shows are on free antenna TV in our area.

We watch reruns of Pawn Stars for the items, not the other bullshit. If you removed the redundancy in PS each episode would be about eight minutes long.

Pawn starts was a good show, not only was it good entertainment, but it was educational

Two shows I only get to watch occasionally, no free TV reruns here...

American Pickers is clearly scripted and staged BS, and the redundancy is ridiculous. But like Pawn Stars, I enjoy AP for the items.

Storage Wars is entertaining, but only for a short while.

I usually surf the net while watching TV, it helps me ignore the BS programs my wife likes.
