    Experimenting with a link. Fail.

The editorial in The Hill listed several Trump Tweets, a Trump phone call, and his unavailability after the invasion of the Capitol Building, but before the video of Trump's half-assed call for his supporters to go home.

His complete lack of concern, and his glee, are clear.

Trump isn't exactly suffering, and not every one who supported/continue to support his Stolen Election Lie are suffering. Many of those people are falling, but they won't hit rock bottom, they'll land on silk pillows.

Trump 'beyond angry' with impeachment defense team's showing: sources — Fox News

Uhh, because he’s try to defend the indefensible.

Dude, no decent lawyers would touch this
    1. You’re guilty (only politicians are letting you go)
    2. You don’t pay your bills
    3. They have to deal with YOU
    4. Arguments against the Constitution
    5. The new powers that be in control are against you
    6....and so on

So in the end, you get a lawyer, if you could call them that
That’s desperate, wants to be in the limelight, and has no restraint

The only ones that will help you are batshit crazy.

    DO I HAVE THIS RIGHT?

The attempt to declare the the second impeachment trial (SIT) unconstitutional was voted down in the Senate.

Which means the SIT is lawful, and legally binding.

The Senators are under sworn oath to act as jurors in the SIT.

Many of those Senators have said they still consider the SIT unconstitutional and they will vote to acquit.

Which means they are openly violating the law, and should face charges.

Obviously this is an oversimplification. But as I see it the Senators who refuse to accept the constitutionality vote and refuse to act in good faith as sworn jurors have to be guilty of violating some laws. But I have no idea which ones.

What you're asking is no more willful than Senator pre-judging a trial.
    Willful begets willful.
And they will slowly figure this out as they get tromped and their reps get whittled away.

Let's just say they're less than respected by most Americans.
And they won't be given the benefit of the doubt anymore.
    Respect begets respect.

I saw nearly all of the prosecution's arguments today. Overall they did a good job. Conman Trump's prior history of openly encouraging violence, suggesting it, & joking about it was presented well. I would've liked to hear more emphasis placed on Trump directing the mob to the Capitol Building.

His defense team will likely claim 1st Admendment protection, and no smoking gun. It should be interesting, possibly ludicrously funny at times.

I heard saw almost all of the defense arguments today. The Q&A session hasn't started.

They presented a little legal argument, a lot of Democrats bashing, and even more Trump Campaign Rally. And some threats to Republicans.

Some terms and cliches come to mind:
    Preaching To The Choir.
    Beating A Dead Horse.
    He Said, She Said.

Trump attacks McConnell in fiery statement

    Of course, only 100% loyalty
    No matter what

Dissing the guy that covered you in the Senate for more than 4 years
AND threw aside anything the Dems did in the House
AND deliver everything you wanted, including as many conservative judges as you can think of

Nope, he’s nobody now to him.

Give it to McConnell, he’s got more guts than his House counterpart
Even if it’s to cover his ass politically and legally

    No soul in that one.
    Sympathy for the devil??? Nope.

    What a whiny bitch baby.
I have no use for McConnell and wish him a special place in the Hell I don't believe in but The Twice Impeached 45 is climbing rapidly to the top of the stack of worst human beings currently alive.
The only reason he isn't the worst is because he doesn't have the authority to kill people like some of the others.

    And a Followup...

Trump fires back at Supreme Court ruling in statement — CNN Politics

    This is friggin’ hilarious

Uhh, yeah...that the way to get the Supreme Court on your side.
Because they’re NOT going to review any more cases you might have in the future. *sarcasm*

They’re not know for changing their mind
    Or being forgiving either.

    Just insane and inane.

The read-out of that was awesome
Because she said it straight but it still sounds kooky.

It would be hilarious if it weren't for the 2/3 of republicans who believe him and the 75% of republican politicians who echo him and offer no reality based push back.
Hopefully he will be in prison in six months along with his offspring.
