Cheney reveals what Republicans are saying privately about taking on Trump — CNN Politics

    Why don’t they have spines???
Is it because the base is ravenous?

What about the concept of leadership?
Aren’t they supposed to be leaders?

This is why the founding fathers didn’t have a pure democracy…but made it representative.
Because they didn’t trust the populous either.
    The mob…

Representatives are supposed to be doing the right thing…for us, for the nation. ALL the above.

The GOP has to start having some courage.
    More than just words.

Sen. Ted Cruz Tries To Insult Rep. Liz Cheney And Gets Brutally Humiliated

Pathetic. That the state of the GOP.
SE Cupp's vid in the article is on point. (and she's a conservative pundit)

Some twisted reality we live in these days.
George Washington's worry about political parties have come true. Where party is over nation and its citizens.

Over 230 years ago, they had figured this crap out.

The same Ted Cruz who went to Cancun during our deadly winter freeze in Texas (my house was without power, which includes the two coldest days), but changed his mind and returned home the next day. Most likely because he received word his trip was being reported in the social media and was about become official news. Oh that's not all, he requested that he have police protection upon his return.

The same Ted Cruz who delayed the certification of the Electoral College votes A-F-T-E-R the attack on the Capitol Building. There is also video of him rallying Trump supporters to take action against the stolen election (he's dressed camouflage).

Ted Cruz has always been a negative demolisher rather than a positive builder.

He got humiliated by Trump during the Republican presidential primaries (which shows Cruz' lack of intelligence) yet he can't keep his tongue out of Trump's rectum.

Expect to see many Congressional Republicans in town hall meetings with constituents over the coming weeks taking credit for bringing funding for critical projects and new jobs to their district after voting against the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Like this congressman from Alabama who criticized and voted against the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as "recklessly expensive" then praised the new funding from the bill (appearing to take credit) for a highway project in his district.

GOP Congressman Mocked After Taking Credit for Infrastructure Bill … He Just Voted Against and Bashed as ‘Reckless’

Republicans, who routinely opposed extending unemployment benefits for workers losing their jobs through no fault of their own, are now rewarding their most ignorant conspiracy driven base voters for refusing to get vaccinated…

GOP courts anti-vaxxers with jobless aid
Just another example of Republican governors and legislatures putting politics above public heath and, as a result, a willingness to contribute to preventable deaths.

    Unbelievable no longer applies ^.

We've seen the Republicans tighten voting requirements to restrict access to those likely to vote Democrat. How long will it be before the Republicans introduce voting incentives directed specifically to those likely to vote Republican? Paid voting time? Extended luncheons, paid for by the company, on voting days? Voluntary (wink, wink) Attendance meetings on voting days? I'm sure some of these have been in place for quite a while.

But when you're courting the ignorant and frightened blue collar voters, keeping them locked in the factory might not be a wise idea.

I want to say a big thank you to the fascist Republicans
Who’s actions have turned a bunch of bleeding heart liberals of the US into patriotic flag wrapping Americans. :D

I mean, those libs are now FOR American
    FOR the government
Ready to do battle for the country.
Espousing against those against our elected officials.
Hoping the FBI, DOJ, DHS and other police entities use their authority to prosecute those rebels.

    Ironic, ain’t it? ;)

That being said, this GDI hopes that they take to the tyrannical GOP’rs.
    Hit’em hard.

Maybe they should use their own horde of guns???

Remember: guns go both ways…as do words.

Honestly, the GOP does a better job at defining success and what a well functioning society looks like. Getting rich, running the government with the conservative agenda, and fucking women appeals to a large amount of GOP voters.

I guess they hit the mark then.
I was watching a marathon of Addams family and pugsly had been reading Horatio Alger, Gomez and Morticia we're bummed pugsly wanted a job..so I looked up Algers work...
I don't totally disagree with Alger because I know so many small business folks...but still I agree how his work is seen as a fantasy too.

You would think the top Republican leadership would take a united stand against NPD Trump.

It would've better if the Orange Man had been sledgehammered in 2020, leading to the Elephants becoming the extreme minority in the HOR & the Senate. At least then the GOP would have been forced into some serious regrouping. Think 1976.

The text message highlighted in this tweet from Politico reporter Kyle Cheney is from an unnamed member of Congress to Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on November 4, the day after the election and before all the votes were counted.

It suggests ignoring the actual votes in these states as they were still being counted Wednesday morning (and leaning to Biden) and, instead, appointing Trump electors right at that moment to effectively cancel the vote and ensure a Trump victory.

    More:
The GOP plotted to overturn the 2020 election before it was even over
This is how far some Republicansapparently will go to undermine the very foundation of a democracy, ignore the vote of the people and the Constitution and install their own puppets in positions to fix the outcome.
