While AZ has made some progress, most likely because of voters rather than politicians, PA is moving backwards because of politicians.

Republicans have learned nothing: After a beatdown, they double down

"Pennsylvania Republicans had a can of whoop-ass opened on them - so they're doubling down on dumb MAGA antics."

Can you imagine if managers in MLB had the power to start an "investigation" into any game they chose?

A timeline of Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter

Musk promises advertisers that Twitter won't become "a free-for-all hellscape."

Twitter temporarily closes offices after Musk ultimatum prompts new wave of resignations

Twitter closes its offices until Monday and suspends employee access codes. I'd say Twitter has become "a free-for-all hellscape."

What is Musk doing? Am I wrong in thinking Twitter was generally doing fine (of course with issues common to a company that large), & now it's in chaos?

Elon Musk restores Donald Trump's Twitter account | CNN Business

A users poll? Seriously? What a Pontius Pilot cop-out.

    Fact: Musk is desperate.

Opinion: Twitter is going to be overwhelmed by Wrong Right assmouths. Unless Musk puts a stop to it...which he won't as long as the money flows in.

Opinion which will become fact: The people who invested in Truth Social are going to get royally screwed.

Biden administration preps for a rocky end to Trump-era immigration rule

Like we need more chaos on the border.

I've lived in Texas over 62 years. Illegal immigration across the borders with Mexico have always been discussed, but never before have I seen it become such a huge issue. I don't know to what degree this' exaggerated, or a real problem.

Our borders were a mess during the Trump admin (some blame goes to Obama), & I don't think Biden has had the spare time (very subjective) to properly formulate an effective plan. It certainly doesn't help that at least some immigrants believe there's some kind of open border policy in place.

If you have answer I'd love to hear it.

    Sports mixed with politics.

USA vs. Iran flag controversy, explained: Why US Soccer's tweet supporting protests sparked World Cup backlash

I clearly remember the Iran Hostage Crisis. Jimmy Carter, and the people he put in charge and the CIA, completely missed just how bad the backlash was going to be when the Shah of Iran was overthrown. The debate over how the hostage situation should've been handled is still ongoing.

Removing the Islamic symbol from the Iranian flag was an Incredibly Stupid Action. It was an idea that should've remained a thought.

Some people says it's really no big deal. Yes, it is. Under FIFA rules the US Men's Team should be suspended for ten games. More importantly, if an Iranian group had done something similar to the USA flag, the outcry (outrage) here in the US would have been long & loud.

For now it appears that the US vs Iran match will take place today.

Setting aside politics, with the exception of resentment going back 43 years, I hope the US team annilates Iran.

'Standing Up': Kanye West Fans Are Responding To His Hate In A Powerful Way

Good that people are finally standing up to the cult of personality.
Sad that we still have some that keep the hate going.

To quote the signature of our illustrious leader...
Hope everyone else gets it.

ConYou West, like NPD Trump, will always have his base, and media coverage to keep him "relevant."

    Sad, but true.

US Dept of Justice Special Counsel Jack Smith will be getting box loads of evidence of alleged federal felonies by Trump in his role to prevent Congress from certifying the 2020 election.

I am becoming increasingly convinced that DoJ will seek indictments of Trump on either or both charges related to the above and his role in attempting to prevent Congress from certifying the 2020 election and/or his role in violating federal records laws for stealing national security documents from the White House when leaving office.

It only takes 12 of the 16-23 individuals on a federal grand jury to issue an indictment on charges of federal felonies.

A conviction will be much harder with the requirement of a unanimous verdict in a criminal trial.

Yes, it is. I got off it long ago and it's NOT on my phone. China IS abusing it.

And something is better than nothing.
We lock our doors despite the fact a determined thief could get in. WHY make it easier???

Twice a day, everyday...I see reports on the global cyberwar. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Nation-state supported hacker groups like "Killnet" are abound.
    Russia trying to create chaos.
China trying to steal anything blind.

And these are just the big boys...much less other nations like Iran and North Korea...terrorists groups.
Hackers, hacker wannabes supplied with hacking apps...and random rogue hackers doing random chaotic moves.
Or white hat hackers being duped, played or doing things that have unintended consequences....

So, the key is...if there's smoke, there's fire. If they're banning it, there's a reason.
Stop the death by a 1000 cuts. Only YOU can prevent forest fires for YOU.
I've stopped TikTok. I've stopped Twitter. I've locked down FB and only do "certain" people and pages. I don't use Snapchat, Telegram or Whatsapp.
    It's about controlling your footprint.
    Locking your doors.

Yes, I interact...but I'm careful and wary like walking down a street in the dark. You don't have to be paranoid, but you SHOULD be aware.
First principle in martial arts...don't put yourself in a problem in the first place. Your skills even if good are for "what if" emergency scenarios.
First principle of security, don't let them know you're there. Many truly secure businesses don't brand themselves, black out windows/ or one way. (they did at the credit card manufacturing plant I did)

So create a separate account for web browsing, lock it down.
Change your CC's annually, even your ATM.
    Put alerts on your accounts.

And be wary of social media...control who or what you interact with.
Do ya go to the REALLY bad part of town?? With questionable people?
The web and computers should be the same mindset.

    It's like hitchhiking.
    Do ya wanna be foolish???
Sure, it may not happen...but it MIGHT.

Security doesn't stop me. I still live, enjoy and interact.
    But I play it smart.
    Everyone else should too.

    But what do I know???
