Let's hope the soft ban is permanent, and becomes more restrictive.
Like hands gripping certain person's neck firmer & tighter.

I've often wondered how NPD Trump juggles his various attorneys and legal teams ( digression, does he actually pay any of them, himself, legally?).

It seems that having attorneys with flexible ethics helps.

Trump is caught trying to play judge to cause trial delays - US Today News,

^ Note: The Daily Beast site kept hitting me with so many ads & paywalls I gave up.

Another thought: If NPD Trump isn't prevented from running, I very sincerely hope the various judges don't do him any favors with court dates. Set the dates as normal, make him & his legal team show up.

    This provides some perspective.

Donald Trump's docket: All the legal cases and investigations Trump faces as he runs for reelection in 2024

Ron DeSantis hit with an ethics complaint from Trump super PAC

One Trump group, Make Ameica Great Again, Inc., is filing an ethics complaint against the DeSantis campaign.

This is funny, & karma. The irony of Trump complaining about ethics violations. Because DeSantis appointed the majority of the members of the Florida Commission on Ethics, the complaint will likely go nowhere.

Y'know...the only ones that seem to be winning in going after Mr. T are lawyers.
They get $$$ and the chance to practice and throw everything in, including the kitchen sink.
Better Call Saul on crack.

And even the lawyers have lawyers...because they're often caught up in the mess.

I wonder how much $ and time has been done altogether for the law industry from just T as a source alone???
They'll make books about all this...just from a law perspective.
    Maybe even a class.

It would be great to know:

NPD Trump's total legal fees by the year, say from 2016 to 2022.

How many of the firms, attorneys, consultants, etc charged him with the expectation of actually getting paid.
And how many knew they wouldn't be paid.

How many under the table barter agreements were made.

    How much was actually paid.

How much was paid by NPD Trump.

How much was paid by various organizations & individuals. Legally and illegally.

I'm watching Mike Pence on ABC This Week with George Stephanopoulos, being interviewed by Jonathan Karl (tape, interview was yesterday). I can't find a link directly to the interview, probably because the show is on right now.

EXCLUSIVE: Pence says prospect of Trump arrest is 'a politically charged prosecution'

If Pence is a devout christian, he's overcome the part about telling the truth.

He's says NPD Trump is wrong, yet: Refuses to condemn him.
Still says prosecuting a former POTUS is wrong.
Blames bad legal advice for NPD Trump believing The Big Lie.
    And much more BS.

NPD Trump has called Pence a "pussy" several times. I agree with him , but for much different reasons.

    That's cool!
Guess NYC AG has learned from Jan 6th.

This gave me shivers just thinking about the implications.

And it's just the start, since there are 6+ investigations on him.

Make ya a bet despite it all...he goes to jail for obstructing justice.
Because he KEEPS doing it.
It's the easiest to get him on.

It shows that over time our politicians, many were/are attorneys, and attorneys have turned our legal system into a playground for white collar crime.

Justice might not be for sale directly, but having the money to pay attorneys* to delay and prolong legal proceedings is a huge plus.

    * I'm convinced many politicians, esp NPD Trump, receive discounted & free legal representation because of the prestige attached to them, and their power to influence people. In many cases there is probably a wink-and-nod agreement that billing will happen with no expectation of full payment. It's much like how unknown attorneys will represent, pro bono, clients in high profile cases.

Color me surprised...FOX "News" reported that yesterday in Manhattan NPD Trump supporters were outnumbered by people cheering for his indictment and arrest.

Not so surprisingly the story turned into a criticism of the "weak" case against him.

Notice that I didn't post a link to the FOX "News" story.

    Edit.

Posting delay/drag time, duplicate, sort of. The software posted the partially edited post, which had already been completed and tapped to post.

Will this post quickly & correctly? Enquiring minds want to know!

Can we, at the very least, keep NPD Trump in court from now until he literally can't appear in court?

Is NPD Trump really this stupid? Brazen, yes, but this stupid?

Manhattan’s DA wanted a Friday Trump arrest. Trump’s team said no. — POLITICO

    This is bullshit.
Just territorialism by the Secret Service

You’d think they’d be “prepared” by now.
Especially after T’s bad call on getting indicted…last week.
And with all the time he’s been investigated, they could discuss “what IF” scenarios.

Geez, I’m tired of all this brinksmanship by all these groups.
Just do your fuckin’ jobs!!!
    Move the ball forward.
    Play it straight.

Everything I’m expected to do in my job…
I don’t play politics and posturing with everything.

I’d never make it in Congress.

BTW, he’s an EX-president…if he’s pegged, no loss.
    Just your pride. :p

The Secret Service detail is there to protect NPD Trump from attacks, not from legal proceedings. But let's not forget the phone records from 05 & 06 Jan 2021.

How many delays will be allowed before the displaced dictator turns himself in?

What if he decides he's above being arrested?
