Food Do we seriously not have an entire thread dedicated to STEAK until now?

    I fought doing sous vide steaks for years. A friend had one that I used when staying at his home and what a game changer. I make a perfect steak every single time. Since I like mine more done than my wife's I just take hers off the final sear sooner which is really to just render out fat.

    On sale from Costco, they had a bunch of USDA Prime at the one by me. Probably loaded up for the holiday weekend.

    Sam's Club here call them Cowboy Steaks, they only have them every few months. I always have the mental image of a bunch of cowboys holding rare steaks by the bone while ripping into them :eek: :p.

    Yeah, Cowboy steaks are essentially the same thing. I think technically a Cowboy has a shorter section of bone left than a tomahawk, but it’s the exact same cut of meat. :cool:
