There you go! Not earthshaking, but something many people can relate to.

Our cats (I miss having dogs) will claim anything, fabric preferred, as theirs.

I wonder if redravin liked pets? I think? I remember? him mentioning a cat.

Damned autocorrect always sneaks in something unnecessary.

I didn't mean to put a damper on your haberdashery, just thought that's what I read.

@redravin would likely find that funny.

My haberdashery could skip the damper & go directly into the dumpster.

I have a few articles of clothing sort of close to steampunk. Two leather fedoras, a long western dust coat (whatever it's actually called), & a pair of real binocular glasses that still work (Kershaw Optics, made in England, pre WW2 is my best guess).

    And a kilt.

No need to skip; I'm overly familiar with this tune- it was one that one of my former employers loved to play constantly.

Fortunately, he didn't run this one into the ground, so I still enjoy hearing it from time to time. :)

The Wish You Were Here album was a big part of my mid-teenage years. I listen to the title song frequently, from the album & the David Gilmour Pulse concert film, but I hadn't heard SOYCD in several years.

I know redravin was seriously into punk, but I'm not much familiar with punk, other than recognizing some band names from "back then," & very few songs from MTV.*

    *Common trivia question:
Why is Video Killed The Radio Star an important song?

I believe it's the very first music video ever played on MTV.

On a side note, I've heard The Buggles' other music and can't say I'm overly impressed. I do like the one song they're known for, plus this one:

I've heard The Buggles band name, but have no idea what genre they "fit into." Sounds like a mix of New Wave & techno-dance to my tonedeaf ears.

I wonder if redravin wrote, under his real name, any articles about punk rock? He occasionally shared some deep insight here.

Do you know if anyone is planning to post images maybe vids as part of his memorial? Or afterwards?

I apologize if I'm assuming a closeness to his family that doesn't exist.

    Not that I know of.
It's in a few days, nothing is noted otherwise. Not on the FB page or memorial site.
I'm acquainted with his daughters, but haven't spent much time with them. I'm giving them their space.
